I welcome you to the test tournament using the RSRW-rule and gentlemens agreement!
I haven't got any response from anyone in the management here allowing me to do this, but I hope they will let me use their forum and pm system to arrange this tournament. I'm too eager to see if people want to try some new things here on ITST. Everyone is welcome to join the tournament. If you don't like the rules I've decided to try out, then don't sign up, and don't throw shit in this thread. If you have anything to say to me, send me a pm! There might be changes to some rules if someone comes with some good explanations and suggestions in a pm to me. Finally I will be the one deciding how this tournament will go down. If you don't like it, don't be a part of it.
Back to the tournament!
Cut short and explained RSRW stands for:
Roddick: 90 Serve
Sampras: 90 Volley
Roddick: 91 Power
Welsh: 168 Wings
No serve or volley attribute above 90, no power above 91 and wings combined can not exceed 168 attribute points.
Additional rules that will be tested is as follows:
No coaches with Monster Defense.
No gold coaches with Topspin Invasion, Slice Invasion, Poisoned Slices or Instant Rocket.
(This means that you can use TI, SI, PS, or IR with silver coaches.)
Edit 21.11.11
By these rules, the following gold coaches will not be allowed in this test tournament because of their skill-sets:
Jon Samala
Luka Novak
Jan Chalupa
Peto Chesire
Jorge Barrero
Pei Jing Quah
Aja Golakov
Liseth Agular
Remi Ercolani
Sahy Rabari
Martin Gobbi
Masaki Moriya
Silver coaches not allowed:
Maurice Ortiz
Hicham Arami
All cheesy rules from regular tour is still in function.
If you are unsure of what these rules are, please follow this URL:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There will also be tested a gentlemens agreement in this tournament.
This agreement involves that you have to give away the point to your opponent, if you do any of the following shots:
Reach Jumping Drop shot
Zero Power Serve
Tramline Serve
No matter what situation. These shots are strictly illegal to perform. This list may grow if people suggest shots they think are too cheesy and does not belong in tennis. Send me a pm and I will consider to put it on the list.
By signing up to this test tournament you sign your gentlemens agreement and should follow it in all tournament matches. If you encounter someone who doesn't honor the agreement, make sure you have evidence before quitting and complaining. If you have no proof, the match results will stand. If you have proof, then you'll get a walkover into the next round. Simple and strict.

There won't be awarded any ITST tour points in this tournament as it is a test tournament and it's arranged by me, not ITST, hopefully on behalf of ITST one day. I want to give a huge thanks to ITST for using their forum to create this thread, making this possible.
A few rules to consider, but I think it will be a very interesting experience.
If you have any questions at all. Please write a pm to me.
If you want to be a part of this test tournament. Please write your PSN or Xbox Gamertag in a reply in this thread. I haven't set a date for this tournament yet, since I have two exams coming up IRL. I'm thinking it should start between 7th and 10th december, as I'm done with my exams by then. Maybe later if there are few people signing up.
I'm going to host and participate in the PS3 tournament. If there are enough xbox players wanting to try a tournament with these rules, I will happily host it for you! The draws will be totally random
In order to keep this thread as clean and clear as possible, please do not post anything other than what you are asked to post here.
Your post should look like this:
PSN: Ary1g or Xbox GT: Ary1g
Any questions should be directed to me, Ary1g, through the private messaging system here on ITST.
Again, huge thanks to ITST for using their forum and pm system!
Have a great day and see you on court!
