Reposition fast???? how?

Hi
Someone could say me how quickly return to the central position of the court?
In TS3 it was pressing L1, but in TS4 according to the instructions is the R1, but my player does not return faster, even sometimes my player tries to move to the net because using the same button R1.

this is my take on the R1 button...it does not just automatically move you back to the center---when your player runs to one side and is off balance you hit the R1 button and it will get him back to a balanced position so you then can proceed to move your player with the joy stick back to the center---its a recover your balance button
