in relation to fair setups...

Played a stunning match against Thecooler... we both had fair setups with strengths and weaknesses - loads of well thought out rallies l with buckets of momentum changes.

The match lasted 1h 5 minutes... I won 6-3 6-2

Heck I mean my final against berson lasted 40 minutes and the score was 4 6 76 64 ... when the same pattern of play is played over and over again ... time flies by :)

Regarding the patch... yeah ok it has sorted all movement issues...but it still hasn't sorted that the whole TI MD thing ! Can something be done please !

hey baghdad id love to play you with your so called "sim rules" guaranteed i still beat you...u thinking i win just because of a TI/MD setup is hilarious to me........

i lost because i went in with an absolute terrible setup, thats how...but message me sometime and we will see if im only good because of this overpowered TI/MD....

what a joke

the reason i love the setup with pej ming quah is nothing to do with the topspin invasion that u continue to whine about....i use it because i play aggresviely from the baseline....therefore i need a higgh forehand/backhand, and high power....

however with these new rules, it is very hard to find a setup that gives u high attributes in all 3 categories.

however, it isnt very hard to find setups with the attributes that YOU need to play YOUR style within these new rules.....so i guess the whining has gotten u what u want ;)

puttu puttu i dont think many people will want to play a 2 set match that lasts an hour...u know how much it is going to suck to play a 5 set match that takes roughly 2 1/2 hours????? IM SO PUMPED FOR 50 BALL RALLIES :) :) :)

part of the reason most people dont like pej ming quah is because she gives you high forehand, high backhand and high power. thats just too much from one coach.

84 forehand/backhand, 79 power is too much....not one stat there is over 85.

u guys are just against all things offensive baseline

no stat below 79 plus topspin invasion and monster defense is a really strong setup man. I dont know how you can say its not, and please stop with all this we are against offensive baseliners stuff. Totally not true at all.

@Hollaa

You would be right except for one thing. The problem is that because unforced errors are so rare in this game, it overpowers an offensive baseliner. One thing about being a big hitter on the baseline is that you run the risk of hitting out a lot and to win you have to manage your winners to unforced errors ratio. There's too much of an emphasis on attack in this game because of this and usually whoever can attack more often will end up winning. That's why people complain that this game is overly repetitive because there isn't really an alternative to winning other than to take control of points and then hit a winner from it. Not one of your stats are over 85, you're right, that doesn't sound overpowered if your player was prone to hitting errors with that gamestyle.

i think anything with one stat over 90 is too much....besides that you have the attributes at your disposal to make whatever setup u like....

if u dont think people used the same setups in top spin 3 u are mistaken

in top spin 3, almost all people had high forehand/backhand/power....

now if you want to make rules for a sim tour, thats a different story...but theres no reason that the main tour should be taken away, as there are definitly other setups that can be used to counter the TI/MD setup

But it shouldn't be just about creating a player that is able to counter ONE single setup. Soon we would have a ti/md vs. ti/md or ti/md vs. ir/md only tour...how boring is that? You see on the rules test tournament that people get really creative in trying out new setups that are more uncommon, so did you. Just that you have been creating a player that didn't performed well with your gameplay does not mean that these rules are bad. Try to make another one!
And just btw - there are tons of setups that fit your high power and strokes wishes, yet none with the ability to hit rockets AND extreeeeme short crosscourt topspins (like ti/md) - you would have to choose whats better for you.
