Well, with bickham, you would have no weakness! everything would be 65 or above, PLUS 2 skils, PLUS a red wing! other SIM chars have at least one weakness.......

Is there a silver coach with VSA? I really have no idea, haven't played with the coach calculator and have no intention of doing so.
But I strongly believe there should be an AA player in sim with a major volley threat.
I could care less about dropshots, I think we can all agree they're bullshit in ts4. I still have hope that they(2K) will fix that part of the game.
For TS3 sim, perhaps I didn't use him according to the original plan, but I was way more successful with Bishop than any other player. Most other Bishop users avoided the net, but he had 69 (?) on volley, which was well more than enough to surprise people with a good approach in ts3. I would love some kind of Bishop replacement for ts4, but would be just as happy with an AA player with serious volley skills.

Guys, why don´t you give a try to the players before start to complain about who is not there? There´s a team that has been testintg this players for a long time. They were not put there without a good reason.

And I believe the key reason about some coaches are missing is because SIM tour is to see who is the better player, and not the better coach. People relied a lot in coach skills in the regular tour. And this is something that is taken out in the SIM Tour.

And about allrounders, believe me, Fortis and Lopez can do a lot of damage in good hands...

I have, and I find it a bit insulting that you think the rest of us don't know what YOU do about the sim roster.

Fortis is a decent volleyer, Lopez has 51. Neither has a volley skill, and neither are a serious challenge to deal with at net unless they've hit a fantastic shot to get there.

I didn´t want to "insult" anybody. Just want to suggest people to give a try to the players before criticize the roster. I´m "nobody" here, I don´t want credits or recognition. I just want to have fun in a SIM way, if you know what I mean...

About your phrase "Neither has a volley skill, and neither are a serious challenge to deal with at net unless they've hit a fantastic shot to get there", you just described real tennis for me. How can we have more SIM than that?

Emate is right. Bishop is needed and will be introduced.

For now, personally, Fusman with Amazing First Volley is really good at net. 56 is decent. The key is not to do "suicide approaches" but pick your spots.

However an All-arounder that can be successful in "forcing" his way to the net is coming. Likely to have a good volley stat and Approach shot expert.

Exactly what I think. I know that this kind of "forcing to the net" player is coming and it´s necessary. But it seems to me sometimes that people wants to make the volley actually easier then it is nowadays.

If you get perfect timing, yes.....and most of the SIM chars will not be able tohit a running FH like that. Besides, if we made a player like Fed, then he would be overpowered, no? We are not aiming for the regular ATP tour here, with only 3 players who are winning slams. We want all chars to have a shot. So stop comparing us to the ATP tour.

I think a good player can put decent volleys with yellow stats, but he has to shot it wisely. If you go anyway to do net, you will get passed. It was the time that a player rushed to net with bad shots and would be able to stay in the point. Modern tennis do not allow that.

Fortis is a good player to use volleys, I really enjoyed going to the net with him. And even with Lopez it´s possible to put some good volleys. And yes, you´ll need to put a very good first volley to saty in the point. This is SIM, IMO.

EDIT: About the video, you can shot a volley like that wiht Fortis using the control volley, for sure.
