Yh ali it does work it also speeds up your connection. Same with other games lagg v france. But since my new ps3 it has cleared a lot. An yeah safety is less.

yea less lag is there after dmz mode but i m not sure about hacking.. put a security password for your router then i guess

yea i ve noticed while playing on my cousin's ps3(old version) there was more lag than mine(new slim version)

In fact the problem is that the game is slower, and not as reactive as against others players. Don't know why but that's honestly true in my case.

Now it's surely less visible for baseliners, it's maybe why nobody ever notice that, but it makes a difference.

Putting DMZ for your XBOX is safe but never put a DMZ for a computer.

In fact, opening DMZ on your XBOX opens all your router ports just for your XBOX. It means that a guy from outside can reach your XBOX. But it is safe because AFAIK, no one successfully succeed in hacking or introducing a virus on XBOX. The contrary is not true for a computer so never put a computer in DMZ.

But it is quite bizarre that DMZ is changing something about the lag. Normally, you don't have to open your router ports because the XBOX uses UPnP in order to do that so I don't see the difference between DMZ and normal mode.
