Tam, you have TS3 now?

I traded that in a long time ago.

Opinions are selective/perceptive but this time you are wrong.

I wonder who Ali voted??

If we can only agree on 1 thing agree that both topspins are better than Virtia

It is rather pointless poll to begin with. Posted at the time when TS3 is long gone and in TS4 forum  Even then TS4 stills comes in behind.

We will never settle this argument, as there is no "measure" involved other then personal opinions.

I bet I would have voted for TS4 in the first 2 month of the game coming out. I really had high hopes, really tried to like it. Kinda sad now.... still thought, we will try our absolute best to keep the TS4 tours running as long as possible.

Bad move to trade in classics. :P

Ali voted for TS3 obviously, he is a closet TS3 fan. Needs to come out, but he is shy a bit...

Virtua Tennis 3 was the best and only Virtua tennis for me. As a whole, the series is far behind any top spin, even two.

I'd buy it if the interest in a tour was strong enough.Guess it is dead though. Plus I doubt many people would play both 3 and 4

Naybe it is time for a revival maybe even a 16 man tour? If goes well great if not, no harm no foul.

It is not necessary use the risk shots in TS3 if u want to be a top player, i remember DRII, he didn´t use them and he was an amazing player, marlonbrando was one of the best, and he used to play SV, Likos and Djarvik could hit crazy control shots,... Not all is based in risk shots.
In TS3 you need to think much more in your tactic, you need anticipate to your rival when he serves and mix your services. It is a mental battle.

I enjoy TS4 too, but things like the control shots make the game very unrealistic.

What's this about Al rigging the poll results? I don't think he would do such a thing. :P

For a start, I beat him at TS3. He should vote TS4 just because of that.

Ts3. I love both games but there was a lot more depth in the gameplay of 3 that gives it the edge for sim and competitive tennis.

Any tennis game that let's you go through a match with hitting no unforced errors and a few forced errors just isn't a tennis game worth remembering in my opinion.

Played ts4 a little while ago, went break point down. On that break point I wanted nothing more than to hit a L2 risk. To take control of the point, like all top players did in TS4. Hit that shot that not only required impecible skill but huge balls. That shot that separates the boys from the men. That is what TS4, among many other things, really lacks.

There is something about the feel of ts4 that I like, the way the player hits the forehand. But this doesnt make up what it lacks in gameplay
