Don't tease me. You know I've been singing the praises of the Blue Shoes Wearing Moroccan Black Man All Courter for like, decades. He's my dream character.

I'd like to see people with 55 on serve consistently serve slice out wide when flashing red in the 3rd set if the right analog stick was thier only option. Sadly, buttons make it do-able. I used to serve 100% exclusive with the stick, now its more like 75%, you just dont get the benefit, and its such a shame.

Honestly, and if Rob was here he would second that, Stick serving is not affected by stamina at all. In fact, I resort to stick when flashing red lots of time.....it is a much safer option.

Bottom line, If I can ace with my Bishop 8-10 times even the best returners out there (The Specialist, Iluv, Norberto, Mack etc...) with 57 serve...and having high 90% first serve in....serving is too easy.

Now, returning is broken too....but bottom line, NO ONE should be able to serve 90% first serve with low rating and actually get away with it.

Its true, serving is probably too easy

BTW I do agree that placing the ball becomes harder when you using stick and your serve rating is low. It is a more consistent serve, but not most dangerous. With buttons, even having a 30 rating it is possible to place the ball near the lines 90% of the time :?

I like the idea thou of being able to serve with stick only. There are a lot of variables then that can affect the serve. Just make the aiming more sensitive and add different effects when you move the stick up-down. Like the more you move stick to the left the more slice on that serve ..... the slower the serve. Right now, there are no in-between. It's either Flat, kick or slice.

Serving should be hard but rewarding. Anything over 120mph relatively well placed should give you an attacking position 90% of the time....however you should be able to make that serve around 40-60% of the time at most.

Second serve should have a higher percentage.....but not by default, rather it should be even more sensitive to direct it, so a player takes a more conservative approach and serves "safer". Say the sensitivity on the first serve is 0.5 second of holding direction before releasing....then second serves should be around 0.35 second.

Now that would be a realistic serve...and not so hard to program/execute.

Returns is another story and needs to be adjusted as well. I have ideas on how....I wish 2K would listen yo us.

it would be great a more realistic return and serve, and movements, is not realistic at all that a player with white stats in speed runs like a rabbit.

I think they MUST break out speed into 2 ratings:

- Top speed (the fastest player can run)
- Acceleration (how fast can he reach that top speed and first step speed)

Right now, there is one speed rating for movement, and then there is the LB and RB run buttons....which essentially give you same speed even with 30 rating. Basically, until you start pressing LB/RB the game actually works well as far as speed and rating...but as soon as you press and hold LB/RB the speed rating gets thrown out of the window - everyone is equally fast. It an error in programing, clearly.

But even this would not be so bad, if Stamina would actually work. It does work, but once again, the LB/RB buttons overwrite everything - including stamina.

If we have a separate rating for speed and acceleration, that cannot be both Maxed out, we will be able to create a true-to-life movement. I don't mid players being fast.....but they also react fast to wrong footing by quickly switching RB/LB buttons.....that MUST go away....there is not enough off-balance shots in TS3.....most shots are done from perfect position, the AI sorta "snaps" you into perfect hitting position even if you are a good 2-3 steps away from the ball.
