Yep I took care to write this Post down. These are really all my wishes for Top Spin 4. If the Developers would keep my post in mind during the developingprocess it turns out to be a great Game.

What's really important for me is the Gameplay. I talked about a few extras too like 4 Players Onlinedoubles and a TV Option to watch other Onlinematches, Ballboys and so on but we will see what happens.

I think this is your post in English?

I disagree with a lot of stuff you say here, a lot of it. If you want, we can discuss it, just let me know.....otherwise I'll leave it alone.

Ok these are my Wishes for Top Spin 4. I had only five years english in school but I try my best to write down my thoughts clearly as possible.

The first thing that's coming up in my mind is the weak Returngame of Top Spin 3. It's seriously one of the weakest points in TS3. The Returnpossibility is weak and it's damn hard to brake somebody and that's a lil bit unrealistic. So please create this Point for Top Spin 4 more balanced that a good Returner always has the Chance to brake even the strongest Service.

The next thing are the Riskshots. I don't know how some other Guys thinking about the Possibility to hit those shots, but for me they are a important Part of Top Spin since the Beginning and I am really a Fan of the first hour since Top Spin 1. Top Spin 1 is until today, no matter how much the Series improved, the best Top Spin ever because we the Players came up with a Gameplay that had the best Dynamic I have ever seen in a Tennis Game. And that of course only because the Developers (PAM) of this excellent Game made it possible.

You know I would have nothing against the improvements the Developers made with Top Spin 2 and 3 but if the Series loses more and more the Dynamic it had from the Beginning, then I can't call this good. Because of that one of my biggest Wishes for Top Spin 4 are, bring us back the Dynamic we had with Top Spin 1 no matter how much realism you wanna put in the Game. Bring us the Dynamic of a real Tennis Game. Please PAM or 2K Sports don't forget the Dynamic by all the improvements you make. Because a Tennis Game without a excellent Dynamic is almost so interesting like a Strip Club without Strippers.

TS3 for example had cool Improvements but it hadn't the best Dynamic and was a lil bit stiff. I want a Gameplay that's smooth like Silk you know.

The next Improvement you made with TS3 was that you took us away the Riskshot Meter. I know some Players would call this an Improvement but I call it a mistake because the Riskshots were ever important when it comes to Dynamic and I as a Player want to be able to have the full controlle over the Game and also over my Risk Shots. Call it like you want it but I think you robbed us the old Fun we had with Top Spin 1 and Top Spin 2 which had a Risk Meter for the Riskshots. So please PAM or 2K, please bring the Risk Meter back for Top Spin 4 and if you don't please create at least a Timing for these Shots what is 100 % learnable and controllable in the different Gameplaysituations without a Riskshot Meter. Because that's not the Case in TS3 and that sucks hard and took away the Dynamic which is like i already said one of the most important Parts of a excellent Tennis Game. Trust and believe me. And if somebody says Riskshots are not realistic then you are wrong because you see it every day in a real Tennis Match that a Player is laying his full Power in a risky Shot. Riskshots are a must have and one of the best Parts in Top Spin. They belong to Top Spin like Playboy Bunny's to Hugh Hefner if you know what I mean. So please don't disappoint me at this Point.

Ok the next thing that's coming up in my mind are the different Characterskillz. In TS3 you had eight Skillpossibilities. You had the Forehand, the Backhand, the Service, the Return, the Volley, the Power, the Speed and Stamina. I am cool with these Points but what I wish for Top Spin 4 is that you make the strenghts of a Player more obviously. That means if I have or create a Player with a strong Serve he should be at least so hard to brake like Andy Roddick in real Tennis. And we all know what a strong Service he has. And if I have or create a Player with a strong Volley it would be nice if this Guys is really strong at the net like some Serve and Volley Players. And so on with the other Skillpossibilities.

I think you know what I mean. I know this is easier said then developed and I can imagine that the hardest part of all in a new Top Spin Development is the fair Balance of all these Skillz but I think you Guys could do this very well because you are great Developers. The fair Balance of all of these Skillz is very important because it would suck very hard if a strong Serve and Volley Player for example turns out to be almost unbeatable without weak Points during the Gameplay. I know this has to be the hardest Part during your Development for Top Spin 4 but I am sure you can do it.

The next thing that's coming up in my mind is the effect of the different Courtsurfaces. If you could develope Top Spin 4 so that you really notice the different Surcfaces during the Match it would be a big Improvement. I think you know what I mean, like a slower Gameplay on Clay or a higher ballbounce on hardcourt but a lower ballbounce and faster Game on grass and so on. That would be really nice and one of the best Improvements you can make. So please listen to me and try to realize this as one of the first Developer of Tennis Games at all.

Ah yeah the next thing for the Onlinecompetition is please give us the Possibility for 4 Player Onlinedoubles from four different Consoles like you could in Virtua Tennis 3. I don't like VT compared to the great TS Series at all but this Possiblity was really great. Yeah and please give us also a TV Option in TS4 with that we can watch the Matches from other Onlineplayers.

Ok these were my most important Points, Now I got a few other things that are less important but nice for the Game.

Create so many different Courts as possible. The Court Choice in TS3 was great but it goes even better.
Create so many customizingpossibilities as possible for our created Characters.
Create Ballboys and Ballgirls like you see them in real Tennis.
And create a more exciting Court Atmosphere.

Yeah these are my Wishes for Top Spin 4. It took me a lil bit time to write this all down in english so please take a look at my Post 2K Sports and PAM.

I am a big Fan of the Series since the first hour and know what's good you know. So please blow us away with Top Spin 4.

Hehe you don't have to agree. I just wrote down my thoughts to get a good Game again.

I know you are pretty satisfied how the Series improved but I am not. I know the Series since the very Beginning and it's getting rather worse than better.

I didn't stop playing this Game three weeks after the Release for nothing.
Everything I wrote down makes sense and it would be only good for all of us if the Developers would recognize it.

Why do you think Top Spin 1 had this huge Sucess and the longest longevity in the Scene? A longevity that was longer than of any Tennisgame before?

And why do you think is almost nobody playing TS3 anymore outside of the ITST after one and a half years?

You don't have to agree but I know what I want you know and that is a excellent Game what's a few classes over the lame Top Spin 3.

But I got nothing against if you would explain me your thoughts. Would be interesting to hear what you wish for Top Spin 4. (not TS3 of course)

These were only my personal Wishes.

The game is good already, granted, there are a few things that are needed to be improved....there is no end to improvements if you think about it. Perfect product doesn't exists, in commercial or practical way.

Its getting more SIM. Its getting closer to real tennis and its Dynamics. For you it maybe a bad move, but for but for some it is a perfect direction to take. I am a tennis player, coach, fan....I breathe tennis....and will never be an ATP player...too old...injuries prevented me from advancing almost from day one.

I didn't stop playing this Game three weeks after the Release for nothing

No, you stopped probably because you could not master controls in few days...it was complicated...you were looking for a simpler game....less SIM and more arcade.
.

No. Everything you wrote down makes sense to YOU and will be good to YOU. You can't speak form most players, altho I'll give you that, you do speak for majority of "gamers".

Why do you think Top Spin 1 had this huge Sucess and the longest longevitiy in the Scene?

Huge success? ...well.....lag of competition. In tennis gaming, other gaming Consoles...etc... Top Spin 1 was a great game, no doubt....but TS3 is simply better, to me. It is more true to life and reality of tennis, even with its faults.

And why do you think it almost nobdy playing TS3 anymore outside of the ITST after one and a half years?

See above. MUCH more gaming competition, console competition....Orientation of the TS3 is towards SIM....and Finally lack of support from developer. TS3 is very much alive and has a great longevity factor. The only way many of us will stop playing it is IF TS4 comes out...otherwise....this game will fill the draws for another 3 years.

You don't have to agree but I know what I want you know and that is a excellent Game what's a few classes over the lame Top Spin 3. Wink

Try to play VT series. Looks to me this is exactly your cup of tea lol. And I do not agree and I think I giving you some valid points why. ;)

Hehe sorry but I played over 200 ranked Onlinematches in the first three weeks and had a 206-5 Win/Loss Statistic (and still have btw) so you should better don't tell me I didn't know how to controlle the Game.

You could be right if you would say I gave the Game up to early but I din't stop playing it because I didn't know how to play it.

TS3 is no real Sim at all and it lacks on Dynamic. If you compare it to the Dynamic of a real Tennis Match as a real Tennis Fan that you are like you said you would recognize it's lame as the Gameplaypossibilities of TS3 are.

I got nothing against more Realism but what I want is having fun like in the good old days again and for that a lot has to get changed in a positive way. The magic Word is "Dynamic" if you understand what I mean.

I mean just take a look at the Returngamepossibility of TS3 just to mention only one point and you know it's a Joke.

OK. You the best babe. No point in arguing with you. You bring no valid points, just your own opinion, which you seem to put above anyone else.

Learn to argue champ.

Dream Match Tennis by the way has more deeper Gameplaypossibilities than you can ever experience with TS3.

I am bad in DMT and I am Beginner. But even if the Graphics are cheap it represents real Tennis more than TS3 will ever do. And I am just talking about the Possiblities you have in that Game.

Even in Top Spin 1 you could catch the Opponent on a wrong foot while you was serving. In DMT you can hit Aces. Real Aces against everybody to mention only one Point that makes this Game by far more sim than TS3.

But hey you got your Opinion about the Game and I got mine. We don't have to convince each other with our Opinions.

And you don't have to act like a lil Kid again and starting to provoke me only because we are not the same Opinion.

I have read what you are talking about and recognized it you know but I just don't have the same Opinion about the Game like you have.

So easy is that. I just made my Opion clear and you did also.
But you are begining to have a Problem again I see.

So mabye you should learn to discuss without being provocative just if you don't like what I say.

 I am the little kid.

My friend, learn the meaning of the word respect.

The only thing I tried to provoked is conversation.

If you didn't wish to respond, you should not have. I had only translated what you wrote in German, so others could actually see and understand your post. And I stated, that if you wish we could discuss it....so after you come and post - I answer....then I am provoking you? hmmmm Your logic escapes me.

Anyway, you have your own opinion, I have mine.
Since you do not wish to discuss it, we shall not.
