Basically, if ur behind in a game, it boosts your shots accuracy and placement.

If you read the thread (I know it is a lot, but I think it will help you) you will understand.

Highly Flammable only works when you get 4 point in a raw and stops imidiatly when you lose a point.

Monster Defense starts working as soon as you are behind in the game and doesn't stop until you are ahead.

If Pei Jinq Quah is so overpowered why are there only 10 players in top 50 with her as a coach, and only one in top 10? I think the patch has fixed the problems we with these coaches.

Wise words my friend.. this is what I am saying all the time, hope they fix this in the next update.. it really takes away a lot of fun to not be able to play my original play style, just becouse i must be scared to play a high power guy and get overpowerd, literally and figurly.

Edit: Same goes for the volleys, also overpowerd after the update. They can come to the net at the craziest moments, and still get to the ball, for me a skill like volley shot artist is more anoying than MD.

The power and volley players are really overpowerd and take away the fun if you wan't to play with a normal power.

I deleted my original ti/md player for stronger set-ups i.e. semi-volley/counter, ir/cps, longer better/shot counter and and the inside out power coach all seem stronger and more effective post patch then ti/md. ir/md is still beasty though i made a 0-4-16 nadal with max out fh and i crush wt with it 50-2 last season. I can say from experience, samala should stay banned for itst play.

The coaches that fall into this category are:

Peto Chesire
Jon Samala
Pei Jinq Quah
Aja Golakov

We know 2K Sports will release more balancing updates in the nearby future but as i said we want to be pro-active and give our members the best playing experience out there. Once new balancing updates are released we will review the exclusion of these coaches of course.

I am sure we will see a storm of positive and negative reactions from within the community. In the end you have to realise though that at the moment playing against someone with such a coach is just no fun and takes out any creativity and potential this game has to offer.

after reading this post again....its not the clearest on what is banned...it just states the monster defense skill is banned and topspin invasion/poisined slices are banned; could you please clarify that topspin invasion AND monster defense are both banned?

I cannot as it is not true. Not sure where the confusion comes from. The rule is simple. Don't use the four coaches mentioned. Thats it. Not more, not less.

...the reason why skills AND coaches are mentioned in the rule is because there is no way to see coaches name when playing "player matches".

When creating a player: refer to banned coaches.

When about to play a match: check to makes sure MD is not present and SI-PSI combo is not present.
