Your barking up a tree with no bone. As all says it's full of holes would cause way 2 many arguments and would potentially have evry1 bitching about evry1.

The only good thing would be seeing Xavi getting out his keys and start locking the many threads that would appear of "control cheat and so on" I'm sure in a week or 2 you will have another idea thats better than all the other ones
To win is to achieve success. To compete and lose and try again is greatness

Try playing with the rules and record that 120 shots rally if you make one with real playing. It won't happen. When you player gets tired, he moves like my grandmother and a winner is a piece of cake. Please show me those never ending rallies you are talking about.

Give it two more weeks and he'll be giving out Agassi Mouse Mats. I can smell it.

The solution is simple : Tennis Elbow 2011.

No abusing lobs, no abusing dropshots, no abusing crosshots, wonderful slices, nice conception of the stamina, the service and the lift. It's best tennis sensation you will ever get with a tennis game.

The only better thing in TS4 is the graphics. Except that, Tennis Elbow kills TS4 everywhere.
I really don't understand that the TS4 tournaments still have like 80 people with all the isues, and Tennis Elbow, only 15-20 whereas this game is LARGELY superior to TS4.

ps : Djarvik is right, it will be impossible to play such a tour, but your initiative is nice ;)
Fortunately, there are still people thinking here, trying to find solutions, even if they are unrealistic...

I think there are a few members here that are owed a few mouse pads from the last time....I think Swifty is owed a few games as well...

Ary, 120 was an exaggeration. Good pick up. Care to to answer my questions though?

If you make ANY suggestions with regarding to rules and tours, you need to be able to explain most possible scenarios. You can't just say"hey this is great idea" when presented with a problem/question. You need to be able to respond.

The tour need more then idea, it has to be manageable.

I was owed nothing because I quit after like one match because the ridiculous "rock band" versions of terrible songs made me want to vomit.

Anyways, longest rally I've had until now with the rules is a rare 35-40.

This should be the a sim-tour. People who only play to win, won't join such a tour when there's a regular tour they can destroy, hence there will be a majority of players looking to play fair. Arguements can be solved with coin toss if the situation seems locked and no proofs lead anywhere. We'll easily see who's getting into arguements every now and then. Claiming that and that. After a while, those unsporting players will stand out in the crowd of fair players. Then they'll be banned.

If there are some controversial decisions, the fair player can at least know that he/she played fair and that this is only a game. Most players playing such a tour is going to be mainly players who have been on ITST for a long time, so I can't do anything other than hope that at least these players play fair.

If 4/5 matches are fair, I would be more than satisfied and will be having a lot more fun than nowadays.

Djarvik can't tell a glitch shot from a regular shot let alone have to monitor control shots from power shots. You're asking too much of his old man eyes.

Djarvik advice is the best "sit on the sideline and watch people freak over a game"

I suggest let's bring back welch. Ary1g misses him.

I played that same player in the bmw open, I was Federer vs his Agassi.. I won 6-0 6-2, He did a hell of a lot of cross court shots to my BH... and if they are anticipated you can take them with an inside out shot or even a powershot down the line..

All of these complaints about "short crosses" are kind of stupid, if I anticipate them from early enough, i can attack the shot as it is short. I dont think I would ever lose a match just due to short cross court shots. Alot of PS3 players play with this style, but they are all still beatable! I dont think I have lost to one of these players on PS3.. Come to think of it.. All of my losses are vs Sh0Case or by WO.

He is so a liar. Looked the result the game was very close, because i often played a longline shoot and then he played with federers forehand cross too. Im a fair player, if i unfair i always played on your backhand (this is a tactic) but i didnt used this and and often played on your forehand. How you got so many points? with your backhand? no. At best, we set the rules so tight that a match lasts 10 hour. why do you get excited about my cross balls? you only played stopps every 3 third hit you played a stopp. and then i answered with a top spin cross.when we cant use the cross balls , how we play then? only longline?

fifa-tee against you i agree, I played against you often cross. because I know that you are very good, but it taught me nothing. My tactic was I tried to slow down your game, and I also tried not you used your inside out . Every player used cross balls in this game this is the sense of the game only with longline you cant win

Have to agree. Against sh0case and fifa tee short crosses don't work cuz they have got a superb footwork. Short crosses although annoying and unreal can still be tackled if u anticipate them well

I just played shahrukh89 and I don't think he abused short cross court shots in our match.

I don't think there footwork is so much better than anyone elses. Difference is that they in general use players with higher speed, making it alot easier to anticipate to the short crosses.
