And @immortal strife : I guess Smell of Blood is more specific and happens less frequently. But you're right in a certain way.

good one djarvik....i love not being able to get one single setup with a decent forehand/backhand/power with 60+ speed....BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE UNREALISTIC.....there are no players in real life who could possibly be good at the baseline AND fast...

your wrong 8/8/4,11/9 ,juraj durech ,insideout master. Reach swings expert. allows you to be fast and have good groundies heck you could even have a decent volley stat at the expense of stamina

Some skills have been tweaked to guarantee that no combination of bonus attributes and skills makes some coaches more efficient than others.

Modified skills include Monster Defense, Top Spin Invasion, Inside Out Master, Better on Long Rallies and Highly Flammable.

Still too early to really say, but to me this implies that monster defense has been toned down a bit. And since both of PJQ's skills have been modified, and she now gives less bonus points, I imagine she is now much weaker overall.

"Smell of Blood" your right, edited now, thanks. The argument is valid right? Smell of blood is the counterpart to monter defense and if one is banned, then so should its opposite, its the only way to reach balance and symmetry.

Not really, because it only applies on game points....monster defense applies on any point in which you are losing.

I've never noticed smell of blood making any difference though -- my S&V players both have it, but only because the best S&V coach gives it as a skill. It's never seemed to me like my player has been better on game points; my shots all felt the same. Maybe it only applies to forehand and backhand strokes and not volleys?

Either way I'd be fine with not having that skill, but losing the other things the coach provides would make playing as a pure S&V even harder than it already is.
