I am all for "fixing" the problem. But, banning one coach wont do it. It will only pave way to another, then another. I could be wrong, but this is a logical outcome.

However, this poll is a good indicator that there is a "problem".

Yes you re right mate.

I guess it s necesarry to ban more than one trainer. We should just allow coaches which give a realistic game feeling, means not too much offensive or defensive, and just 1 ability near 90.

A simple banning is too good for her. She has unleashed all types of evil on ITST.
Burn her at the stake!!

Mack's right. She's already possessed too many here on ITST. Only a highly sadistic and torturous ritual burning will release them from her evil grip!

I agree there are more restrictions needed than just banning one coach. But why not banning PJQ already, and decide about other restrictions later? Will the upcoming balance update change that much? I mean, people seem to have had enough of dealing/playing with this coach. I even pulled out of RG because I didn't feel like playing best of five TI/MD matches.

logical, really? there's a logical reason why 80% of WT players use TI/MD -- because it's the most dominant and overpowered setup in the gm without question. if it's banned then people will be forced to use the less dominant setups...so i dont see how another setup magically becomes the new TI/MD if no one uses that said setup now

sounds like someone is in love with TI/MD...

you clearly dont know djarvik, and you clearly have never played djarvik.

djarvik doesnt use TS/MD and is certainly not in love with it.

And if you had any conception of the game you would realize that he is right, take awaying the coach just leaves room for another coach, most probably samala with IR/MD

i can assure you that that "someone" is not Djarvik

So because 80% of people on the WT use TI/MD it means there will not be a next coach in line that overpowers all the other coaches?

Nobody is using it because other coaches are pretty much useless in comparison with TI/MD, not because there is no coach not dominating the other coaches.

I will say that we do not know for sure what will happen when Quah is banned, neither do you. Personally i believe that nobody will give up MD and banning Quah will just lead to a frenzy to the next MD coach being Samala.

And this:

sounds like someone is in love with TI/MD...

is a swing and a miss....

Samala is no where near as damaging as Quah though. Extreme power isn't necessarily a good thing in this game as it is very much counterable, unlike the extreme topspin invasion which is much tougher to deal with.

True, PJQ is the only coach that is by far too good. With that gone there are a handful of other strong coaches that are almost equal. Samala is one of them, but not the only one.
