I dont think they are faster. Just able to reach more balls without the stutter/freeze bug.

Right. But players were already fast. Now it's even worse lol :-)

My serve dud has 66 stamina 66 speed 62 reflexes and is still a very fast player....

These will be adjusted by Balancing updates. There was no specific speed increase. Like Floris said, what likely happened, is that glitches preventing you from moving efficiently before are now gone.

I think only now, 2K can start making proper Balancing updates. Decrease of effectiveness of certain stats or increasing others....etc.... Speed affects all aspects of the game, so making balancing updates prior to fixing the glitches would be a waste of time once glitches do get fixed.

Be sure guys to fill in your new suggestions (or revisit old ones) in the Player Balancing Updates thread here:

TI/MD is still stupid as ever. Did not see stutter step as much after this patch, at least.

top spin shots do not seem as effective , you can't hit crazy cross court shots as consistently as before. Player movement is restored, also do people feel as if rallies have been slowed down a bit ?

All they need to do for more unforced errors is MAKE IT SO IF YOU AIM TOO LONG IN ONE DIRECTION, THE BALL GOES OUT!!! A LA TS2.

So..you get the longest window of opportunity to aim with a Perfect time shot...the window is smaller with Too Soon or Too Late shots....boom, simple as shit.

As it is now, you can just totally f**king jam the joystick in one direction and leave it there for as long as you like, this is why anybody and their mom is able to hit consistent sharp angles if you give them a shot they like.

So basically I'm saying the controls should be exactly like TS2 but with a 'press-release' type of shot, not just 'press-hold'..and also there should be no 'Safe Shot' (the A button). Other than that, exactly like TS2

It really does feel like they are super fast. just played a guy with 50 speed and he tracked down every ball my power guy hit, even when I painted the line he was there.

I think they are way too fast right now.

100% agreed. This is all this game needs to be almost perfect. I like your suggestion of better timing makes the direction window easier to get perfect direction. This would solve a lot of problems.

Revisiting some other suggestions for patches, the scoreboard is still in the way during the points. If they can fade it out during the serve, there's no reason why it can't be faded out during the points as well.

Perfect. all we need now is for the shots to be weakened considerably and a whole clump of the community will get what they wanted.. they can get to any shot lol.

Hopefully not. Now that movement issues are fixed, I think they will probably (hopefully?) tweak down-the-line flat shots a bit by making them slightly more accurate. I think this would get the balance between angles and down-the-line pretty much even.

I'm really quite happy with where the movement is at right now.

I agree with Jaylove. Been sayig this from the beginning. Actually I like how the control shots work. But also like how to power shots work but the window should be maller . Way smaller.

About the down the line shots. I think that they are good in TS4. They were so annoying in TS4 and TS3 how easy you could hit down the line and paint the lines.. Unless the window will be smaller then it will be fine. But true that thw cross courts are dominating too much now.
If they would be less accurate then thing would also be much better.

You might have issues with connections if you're NAT is set to moderate or restricted. That's a common issue in games these days, just something to be be aware of.
