"The character-building features from Top Spin 3 make a return, albeit with a number of improvements. You build you player up in the same way, earning experience points in offline and online matches, which you can spend on different attributes of your character"

Looks like we'll have to hope for another bug in character creation

Sounding great, seriously cannot wait for this now. Doesn't look like risk timing is going to be the be all and end all this time around.

This is great, as timing is one of my few good attributes on TS3!

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

The article also says they saw nadal "play with henman". Henman is NOT on the final roster, so this means one of two things:-

henman is DLC.
The reviewer knows actually nothing about tennis, and probably mistook some generic grass court for 'wimbledon'.

Yeah, thats my guess also. The Eurogamer-article said something about no licensed venues. But since we know that there are a few licensed ones I guess that writer knows nothing either. Damn those stupid reviewers...

I read a few previews in french and they all seem to talk about the same aspects of the game than those in english... but i still could read a few new things:
-on-line doubles on 4 consoles is a no go (ping problem)
-They wanted to emphasize the difference of styles of play like you can find in a fighting game, thus powerful players won't necessarily win against defensive ones... they said it was the problem of TS3
-more details on coaches: they listed exemples of improvement and one of them is "2nd serve precision" so we can hope that this time the 1st and 2nd serve are different. It seems you can also improve only the topspin or flat strokes...

It also seems that someone uploaded 2 ingame videos but they were quickly taken down... if anybody could download them before they were removed, don't hesitate to share with us.
