so maybe we have banned coaches too early .
and maybe with the new updates we have to rethink this .

Modified skills include Monster Defense, Top Spin Invasion, Inside Out Master, Better on Long Rallies and Highly Flammable.
For the complete skill descriptions, please see the full manual online.

Sorry djarvik, I might be dumb, but I don't get the 'full manual online'.. What's that ? In there we could see these skills updates in better details ?

Errors, timing and positioning seem much more influential now, signs are really good.

I think they just mean that in the online manual, there is a description of what each skill does. I don't think it gives any details of what has been changed by the update.

The link to the online manual is in the manual that came with the game.

I really wish they would tweak how quickly your stamina drains when coming to net. I fear this will make S&V even tougher to pull off.

Of course, with the updates that affect returning, it may balance out.

I had a match with rocketsfall today.

I can't remember what his srv and vol stats were, but his srv was around 95 with a volley of 85 I think. I didn't know there was a patch btw. I just logged on to XBL and he invited me to a game. Something seemed off. His S&V has always been spectacular, but this time it seemed more effective. I was having such a hard time trying to get points on his games. If anything, S&V might have improved a bit because of the returning tweak. Kick serve is now really effective, and gives S&Vers a huge boost. It can still be returned well, but placing it in a good spot away from the volleyer is the problem.

Its probably the most significant update theyve done, it certainly is harder to pull off great shots. And for me affected my angles play..

Just hope they continue the good work and resolve the world tour connection issues aswell

I am pretty much in love with the update so far.

I do agree that it might be a problem to play against S&V guys as hitting passing shots either cross or down the line is harder. I am curious to see if the S&V have been harder to pull off.

But seen many errors happening. Specially ith people who prepress and do the power shots.
And people who don't move smooth get in trouble too . Bad positioning causes errors.
I like that the control shots have way more influence now.
Short crossed TS shots are harder to pull off.
And when you are able it feels more like a achievement.
And an easy put away on the 3rd shot ain't that obvious anymore. You need perrrfffect timing all the time lol when your player is tired.

Thanks for the update so far. Keep improving. I have been moaning about TS4 tll now. But I can now saw I kindda start to like it ??   :D :D :D

Yeah, definitely an improvement -- just finished my second ITST match with the patch. There were a couple of balls I hit out with good timing simply because I was on the run and the ball was at my feet. I used to be able to hit those back into the corner with no problem.

I don't think it has made S&V more effective though. I play S&V; won my first match easily but really struggled in the second match. I was only broken once but he had something like 10 or 11 break points. He wasn't hitting any return winners, but he was hitting them in places where my volleys weren't putting him away and were giving him a chance to hit a winner on the second shot of the rally.

Yes, i have a problem now

Gotta go back to the training courts after this patch i guess. I could go by with no braining power shots but thats in the past now. Great patch though :).

I was hoping the stamina would drain when people tap RB when shooting, but don't approach

Man, they SERIOUSLY cut down on the amount of spin you get on slice serves. Should be much harder to really pull people off the court.
