S&V fun

Funny I gave someone with MD TI named "Fernando Verdasco" hell of a match with my 20 S&V character lost on the thirst set tie breaker 10/5

short rallies too :P

I got a lot of hate tells from people with cookie cutter set ups and it was funny watching people with 37 Volley trying to attack the net because they were frustrated lol

I don't know how anyone can hate a sv, maybe a power serve baster but sv isn't that easy so use.

They were calling me "cheeser" and "boring" lol yeah but I agree , it is harder , but there is nothing more rewarding that hitting a nice clean volley away from one of these power houses haha , and they actually do unforced errors when you are at the baseline rallying too because they know you can come in and close the angle lol

I'll add you because I want to be beaten by a sv. If you don't win I will be angry.

venom, could you post your player setup?

i've played patko7 a few minutes ago and it was impossible for me to get any longline return. even his return wasn't the best, high and slow, my player felt like frozen.
of course, patko7 is very good, but a player with 94 at volley and 83 at reflexes should get a longline return.

sadly to see, that power seems to be all in ts4.

HI

I have 20 point in SV with a better forehand low volley artist and expectacular volleys , at around 100 reflex and 90 volley

The trick to SV is vary the serve , position yourself in the middle of the court before serving so you have time to get to the returns down the line , serve some down the middle , don't always go for the power volley , if the ball is high sure , but if they are returning low slices or drop shots let it bounce and hit it to an angle or down the line , now you are set for a good volley.

Also do some serves with the buttons , slice and kick serves are good , the button serves allow you to move in to the net , so if the person is slice returning down the line you will be at the net by the time the slice is floating .

variation is key , volley some control and normal volleys right back the the opponent since they are expecting volleys to the opoent court , some times a volley right to the oponent is better than hitting it to the other side , bring them in with drop volleys and then pass their 0 reflec 0 volley character with an easy volley , remember when they are at the net it is your territory.

From the baseline don't hit power , hit control slices on your weak side and top spin flat control to your strong side and move in the moment you smell an oportunity

and sure add me my Xbox name is veno400wolf

I'm not saying I will beat anybody , people with extremelly good reflex and thinking are hard to beat regardless of where you are , but SV is strong , specially if stacked.

When the Volley value is anyware bellow 80 I feel weak at the net , my all arounder gets killed because he lacks the power to pass people from the net , however it may be my fault because I'm hitting a bunch of volleys of timing , I'm still learning to time the volleys , if you hit perfect volleys your oponents are usually in trouble .

On high volleys I'd hit power volleys. I'm playing S&V with 47 on power btw. Gave him quite a few levels on DB to be quick around the court. Gives me a chance in return games.

When the Volley value is anyware bellow 80 I feel weak at the net , my all around er gets killed because he lacks the power to pass people from the net , however it may be my fault because I'm hitting a bunch of volleys of timing , I'm still learning to time the volleys , if you hit perfect volleys your oponents are usually in trouble .

MY speed is around 79 if I remember correctly , high volleys with a clear open court I would go power , but volley is about placement and moving your opponent around the court so he can hit good strokes , so the answer to that question would be hit it the farthest away your opponent is to..

If I get a high volley and the opponent is camping the baseline I would hit a drop volley or a short cross court slice away from him ,the opponent is a little bit in the court then hit it hard , if he is all the way back there in the middle and you hit power you are going to get lobed .

Again I'm not the best at this game but I'm giving people with dream cookie cutter set ups hell on line , I even came 1 point away in the 3rs set super tie breaker from beating a cheater with a 105 bh 110 power 05 forehand values lol .

Just experience in real tennis I put to work here in the game.

.but this should be ok if i want to play an all-court game im mean i have being using the top sin gold coach calculator to come up with stats strong in each area a so far i far i.e all stats exceed 50 and are orange but what about a 70 volley stat surely that should be ok right as i want to serve volley but dnt the drawbacks i.e. low stamina low power average speed as it will render me ineffective in rallies
