Top Spin 4 hangs on my Xbox after Patch....

Hi,
i have a big Problem with my Top Spin 4. Just got the info that the game is updated. Then i see the Screen looking for download content and than my xbox hangs....nothings happens.
What can i do???

I can not play Top spin 4 since 2 days

i think it has to do with my profile....when i use another xbox360 profile i can start the game. but not with my original xbox260 (goldmember) profile

but how can i fix this?

sold your xbox260 and buy a xbox 360 .
it looks like this is your major problem why TS4 not runs on your console


but seriously , go to settings and clear the cache ,after that the game will work

Wow, I cleared the cache and this update still freezes my system. I cannot play this game anymore.

You'll might have to delete the saved game data. If you can play with a separate profile, then your save might be corrupted.

Could you specify which message or the exact steps leading up to the freeze?

sure i can, but i have the german version - so will post the german message and than try to translate

After i get the update message box (right now the message box about the edited players) there come the Message "Sucht Inhalt zum Herunterladen. Bitte schalte deine Xbox360 nicht aus".

This means " Looking for content to download. Please dont power off your Xbox360".

after about 1-2 seconds my Xbox360 hangs

i just cleared the cache of my xbox360 and deleted the last save game - but still the same problem
Now i cant play this game since one week

Thanks - This seems to be a super isolated case (I've not seen other reports of this)...

Try launching the game, but disconnecting it from the internet and then try again.

can you play your other games?

when your other games work than its not your xbox ,than it is your TS4 gamecopy .
maybe there is , a scratch or stuff like that.

so your other games run in a normal way ?

As drscribed in this topic, two nights ago I went to play a game of TS4, after logging in then starting the game, all was fine until the screen came up saying that there is an update available and as usual I was signed out of xbox live while the update was downloaded and applied. Of course, I had to accept the update so I could continue to access the game. Yhe update downloaded fine and appeared to install with no problems, I was automatically signed back into xbox live and the game proceeded to load as usual until it got to the 'checking server for downloadable content' screen and like 'ingonicole' posted, after a few seconds not only does the game freeze, but the whole xbox freezes and has to be manually reset. I have flushed the cache but that doesn't work because as soon as I restart the game it automatically downloads the update/patch and freezes when it gets to the same checking for downloadable content screen. I am at my wits end, the disk is perfect, (I only purchased it less than a week ago), and as soon as I got it I installed it onto the HDD, As we own 2 Xbox 360's, I guess my next move is to see if it does the same thing on the old xbox. The one I'm using the game on at the moment is the new slim model so I can't imagine there would be too much wrong with the optical or HDD as every other game plays perfectly fine. Does anyone have any ideas on why this update/patch is causing so much grief for me?

I've tried clearing my cache, deleting installed games and saves but no dice.

i also had a huge problem with ts4 .. not the ame u have , but also seemed to be the ony one suffering of it . in online matches the conection to my op often broke up.. but neither me nor the p were diconnected from xblive and both could still move on the court..

..

anyways, i fixed it by formatting my hd..

deliting ts4 gamsaves and data wasnt enough..

maybe it solves ur prob too
