Nothing massive.

I've had a lot more fun playing the sim tour than the regular.

When playing a sim match I feel I need to construct the point carefully and think to win the point, where in the reg it feels a lot more like who presses the buttons better.

It's way more balanced than reg because against guys who destroyed me in reg,in sim I played a very close match or even won.And I've only used Fusman (probably the only one around still using him-thanks djarvik!).

Jensens,Lopezs,w/e don't feel overpowered, just all-courters.

Well points were constructed in 1970s tennis with wooden raquets.. Nowadays with new raquets technology you choose your own playstlye and these modern technologies in tennis heighten your skills.. That is what reg tour is about.. More fast like present day tennis.. Reg tour is not completely balanced but still it's way much more faster and fun to play unlike Boring Long and slow sim matches

Besides sim tour forces you to learn and hit most of the times control shots. A player with better ccontrol shots is successful in sim.. It is sooo difficult to win a point using power shots in sim.. With less stats in sim you can't even hit a good angled power top spin shot.. Soo sim tour is not for power players.. Whereas in reg tour you still have the choice between power shots and control shots. You can still win a match using power shots in reg tour. In sim tour 90 percent of your shots should be control ones if you want to win lol

One of the biggest differences with regard to power and placement is this: no risk shot.

Exactly that's why for ts4 sim tour makes no sense or if there is to be sim tour for ts4 then stats of the sim players should be raised a bit to add more power in the shots.. Also risk shots of ts3 should be a bit less powerful otherwise (one perfect risk shot=end of rally).. That's why I prefer reg tour because power shots of reg tour are although powerful but still less effective than risk shots that's why more rallies as well as fast game in ts4 reg tour which makes reg tour wayy better than ts4 sim tour...[/quote]

Ali, I appreciate the passion, but it is now turning into a "witch hunt". If you don't like SIM tour - don't play. That is the right way of showing your displeasement.

Is the SIM tour as good as TS3? No. We never said it would be. Since day one it was evident that with no ability to risk, the game becomes very shallow, a glorified pong some say. I tend to agree. Sim is there to do precisely what it does now, to give a different experience and a different way of playing. Yes, you cannot blast your way with power, you have to generally out think your opponent. Lack of risk eliminated fast points, so most points tend to be longer. Don't like? Don't play.

As for Pro tour, we tried a test tournament. It fell behind on schedule, got a good amount of WOs. Not mentioning that few players were used.

It will be the same no matter what tour we do, what setups we do. There will always by the top 3 coaches followed by the second tier ones. The only way to assure more players are used is to make them VERY similar, but isn't kinda the same thing then using the same player anyway?

Lol I was not witch hunting.. I see your point..Was just giving my opininon to maybe raise the stats of the sim players a bit more to make it more real.. Stats which will be intermediate between present sim tour and present regular tour.

I think the SIM tour matches are a lot more like real tennis than the reg tour matches.

Yeah, the balls are a little bit slower, but it still looks way more like watching a real tennis match than a reg tour match does -- people aren't just hitting insane angled shots back and forth that would be errors 90% of the time in real life. Reg tour matches are basically about who can rip a crazy angle first or who can get lucky and wrongfoot their opponent.

edlglide you reed my mind :) 100% agree with your words. And I like sim tour! Only one thing what we can do to is add more characters to the roster.
