player moves forward automatically

Do any of you guys have the issue where your player automatically moves forward even though you're not hitting R1? It keeps happening to me, and I have to constantly fight it by moving backwards after it starts. It's been costing me a lot of points...

maybe your controller stick makes problems .
had this often duo settled dust + smokedust at controller.

test it .
do a other game in the box and look your "old ego" is walking from alone : THAN ITS DEFINITIFLyY the controller .

its because u press forward when ur opponent plays the ball, with some easy balls he makes that move i have that to sometimes. you should 'read' when this happens and prevent it by not pressing forward in those situations

If you hold R1 to get in position for too long the player will move forward too. Unfortunately you can't cancel a command.
