Quick match points system...

So for winning a quickmatch i seem to get anywhere from 1 point to 17 points. When i defeat lvl 20s sometimes i get 1 point, and when i beat lower lvls ill get more. Also i seem to be getting a lot more 1 points for victories lately... just wondering if anyone knows how this works exactly?

It seems like moving up by way of quick matches is not worth it since even if i played 4 hours a day every day i would only move up like 10 spots during the week! I think that they need to make the quick matches worth more, because people can just get lucky on who they play against in tournies, but quickmatches is more of a true testiment to how good you are.

Also my grade is 20, 8th highest in the world atm.

don't you get one point for a loss?? Are you sre those matches were counted as wins, cause I (and a few others) have noticed that sometimes you get a loss even if you win.

But the max is not 17, last week i got 22 points.... werid system, and I agree with you that quick matches give to little points to make an impact on your ranking.

I think it's supposed to give more points the higher level someone is above you. I was level 0 and beat a level 10 my first quick match (used a new player) and received 31 points if I remember right.

I don't like that. That means it equals out the point system if you're really good or really bad.

But the bad players won't get many points from WT tournaments. Anyways, I'm not exactly sure what the formula is, so don't use what I said as fact.

they won't....but it's kind of stupid that, let me say I get only 3 points per match and a lower grade player gets 21. I have to play 7 matches and win them all, otherwise the lower grade player will have a higher ranking after one match that he wins.
