guys in womens tour?

Hey i just started on the womens tour for fun and made a female character but i noticed there are tons of male characters playing in the tour, how is this possible?

It is only mixed for the quick matches. If you play any of the actual tournaments with your female player, you will only face females there.
I think 2k made the quick matches mixed so that for those who want to play with a female character, they will always find themselves a match now as in TS3 you would rarely find another female to play against so could end up waiting in the lobby for an age.
