Should I buy Full Ace Tennis Simulator?

Postby Uchiha Muss » Thu, 19 Apr 2018 20:45

So I just found out that this game has been out for over a month and I didn't know about it until ITST sent me an email about the start of new World Tour.
For those who played the game, is it at least as good as Tennis Elbow? Are there enough of us from ITST to make it extra fun.
I'll probably buy it regardless but it'd be nice to get some opinions first

It's better than TE, but still has a small community, huge potencial.

uchi! Imo, its still quite bad. It has potential, but potential isn't fun. The ball physics are nice, but the anims, the movement physics are just pitiful. I feel like i'm running around the court in a body cast. However, just my opinion. Others like it. But the community doesn't exist really yet, tbh. just look at the draw/results of first official future tourney. tells the story

The game itself is awesome to play - very realistic without being boring.

People in general seem to have two issues - that the game is too difficult (which I remedied by adjusting the excellent slider system until I got the right balance) & the graphics (which are unlikely to get noticably better in the near future). I myself can live with inferior graphics when the gameplay is so solid but your mileage may vary. The community is indeed a small one, but there's only one way to remedy that right?

Also - the development team is really good. They won't always give you what you ask for, but they work hard to respond to enquirers, questions and bug reports.

I say buy it off steam, play it for a a day or two and you will know if the game is for you or not. If it is not, steam are really good about refunding games if you get back to them in 2 days.
