this has been talked i remember some guys wanted this feature for ts3 but others stated and i agree that it doesn't make sense to add this feature, since the game can always tell with 100% precision when a ball is in or out. it would be like making an hawkeye for a hawkeye-accuracy linesman.

I talked with kschoice about this a while back and he told me the linesmen will not have pinpoint accuracy. I wont go into it that much as i am sure he will be able to explain it a lot better. I think he might found a perfect way to include the hawkeye system.

To be honest, I thought exactly that at first too. But I realized that in a matter of years, challenging has become a part of professional tennis, both about actual play and show.

According to me, there is high probability that the only reason Top Spin (3 or 4 for that matter) doesn't have this is the ball doesn't come close enough, (and often enough) to the lines for challenging situations to occur.

For challenges to be useful in Full Ace, I added a margin of error in the judges'calls that allows for mistakes in very close situations, like in real life. And believe me, being able to challenge and see exactly where you ball bounced is very enjoyable in terms of video gaming fun (that is, of course, in a game where the ball sometimes happens to bounce as close as 1 mm, or even less, in or out). The few people who already tried it out agreed without reservation.

i hope you are right, i don'tknow if you can do that in the madden games (i think NFL has challenges too). i think an important feature in any tennis game for many people here is the level of realism achieved by that game. haw-eye would add realism, but i think the fun of playing depends exclusivley on what happenes in the rallies, not what happens between them.

Realism is the most important feature we want to achieve with Full Ace. Many people were convinced by our effort and already think rallies are very fun with it (a big part of it comes from the fact that the ball can actually bounce anywhere). According to me, a challenging system is a nice addition to that.

Have you tried Full Ace demo ?

Now you can try the challenge system. It's available in the latest demo as well as in the full version, obviously.
