You are trying to find out an easier way of us playing the full version of the game for free?

No, the whole point of this is to try out our sales system for the finale release. We'll try making it more straightforward as much as we can. It seems to me though that people are going straight for the download without reading any of the instructions, whether on the website or the e-mails.

Haha. Can't blame them. We normally don't have to.

So, we will have to read yours and take it from there. Yet, if you want to be more consumer's friendly, you must find a better way to do this.

I understand that you are testing your sales system. However, I am sure that there are better ways of doing so?! Maybe.

Please do not get me wrong, I appreciate what you have done for us thus so far.

So, for instance, when you registered on ITST forums, you didn't read the instructions in your e-mail to activate your account ?

It's not as if there were tons of instructions to read. By the way, can you give me a single example of an online software, like an antivirus or something, that has a no-instruction registration system ? I registered aVast for free lately, I had to go to their site, they sent me an e-mail with instructions on how to enter the license number in the software, I had to read the instructions to do that.

Then again, don't get me wrong also. I'd like to make things easier, I just fail to see how we could achieve online registration if people are supposed not to read the instructions we give them.

I don't think there is a better way of testing our sales system than with our potential customers. If we hadn't tested it this way for the beta, we would have delivered the same system for the commercial release. At least now we know that people have trouble with it.

We are a small company, with small means. It seems to me that big companies have it way easier with way more flawed deliveries.

I guess, as it is, people tend to focus exclusively on the download, and miss the license system altogether. We probably will give a direct link to the download, and then I expect it will be clearer that you need to go through the registration system to unlock the commercial features.

Then again, I keep thinking that it's very wrong to discuss this here, because it only benefits ITST people as opposed to the other people who are or will be interested in Full Ace.

Yet, compared with massive gameplayer's space in the rest of the world, it's a little bit confined here.
To open up your market and boost your PC game business you sure have better options other than this!

I think I didn't make my point clear. I'm concerned that most people who encounter problems with the game, won't seek answers here on ITST, but rather on Full Ace forums.

I think kschoice is right, i would be better for them if we wrote in their forum, anyway the subject had been brought here, and if it wasnt i had never heard of this game.

The point was to let people here know about the game, that's why Slicer created the topic.

I want to but do not want to deal with steps, to be honest with you. I was supposed to get up around 8:00 a.m. CET to finally try it out.

I did not have the guts to do it. LOL. I am going to try it today. 8)

I am trying to promote this guy's game. So, to make it easier for us all, here is the link that leads you right up into the beta-full demo download.

I find that there is too much, what I call, web-chasing to get to the final destination.

So, to cut that in half, please visit the website here to add the game to the cart. Then, create an account and look for the email activation to that will be sent to your inbox or junk box:

http://www.galactic-gaming-guild.com/in ... &Itemid=20

After you activate ANOTHER email and your account, please go here:

http://www.galactic-gaming-guild.com/in ... 20&lang=en

YOU MUST CLICK ON THE "SHOW CART" TAB TO LOG IN AS A RETURNING CUSTOMER OR USER.

You will now receive an email that will have your DOWNLOAD-ID!!

Once you get your DOWNLOAD-ID, click on the DOWNLOAD AREA TAB and insert the ID FROM THE EMAIL!! :)

I don't think you are actually cutting anything, or I don't understand.
