Okay, I've been able to download the game and get everything in the right place, though I think the change from demo version to full version could be made a bit easier.

Well, I've encountered a problem. I switched all the controls over to keyboard because that's all I have. For some reason there is no response from the game for any keyboard buttons I push though except for the escape button. This is in both the exhibition and training modes.

I like the graphics though.

Yes. Very good Sherlock. That is what I wanted to say about the keyboard functioning.

I think that is how I completed the demo training. The ball was easier to get to. :)

In the beta version, it was not. Yet, kschoice said that this is the way he wants it to be. So, the game developer has spoken?! :P

You're the first one who reported this problem. I've uploaded a fixed version on the site. You may get it either on the purchase page with your download id or from www.fullacetennis.com through the link in the Beta article.

Let me know if this sorts it out.

Is there a way for you to put the fixed version on the website or send it directly to us?

I mean . . . I would not like to go through the same elongated process of getting the previous version again. Hehe.

Then, again, we have the guide I created for you. I hope you liked it too.

When did you talk about keyboard ? Keyboard, and the problem Sherlock is talking about, has nothing to do with what we have discussed. Furthermore, keyboard was never available before the beta.

Q, you're really getting on my nerves here. Can't you read ? You're answering a 4-line post with the following sentence :

You may get it either on the purchase page with your download id or from www.fullacetennis.com through the link in the Beta article.

You have to learn to read messages COMPLETELY before answering them.

Please do not get upset with me mate. It does not seem to clear when you put information here. I apologize that I misunderstood you, yet again.

Oh, by the way, I did completely read your information. Yet, I was asking can we ALSO get the file through email, since we are your beta-testers. Hehe. That was all.

I honestly think you could do without the sarcasm and the coming on and on again with the same things (purchase process, bugs, complaints) if you want people not to get upset. You have to put some efforts of your own into it if you don't want your posts to be taken badly. I've got your point by now that you didn't like the purchase process, thank you. If your message was all about getting the update by e-mail, why do you ask if you can get it through the site when I just said you could, if not for an opportunity to bring down the purchase process yet again ?

It may not seem clear when I put information here, but it seems to me you also have an understanding problem. You clearly didn't get what Sherlock was saying at all, because what he said has nothing to do with getting the ball, it has to do with being able to play at all.

I clearly didn't like your "The developer has spoken" bit. What do you expect me to do ? Q.Reese has spoken, so I should do what he says ? What if Sherlock comes and says that it is too easy returning serves and that it spoils the game experience for him, being too easy ? Can't you figure out that I just can't take any upcoming suggestion in ?

There are already 25 beta-testers, and growing. Do you really expect me to send updates to all of them ? Isn't it easier that people go get the update by themselves ?

By the way, this update fixes a bug that prevented keyboard to work under some circumstances. If you have had encountered it, you wouldn't have been able to play the game at all. As you did play the game, this update isn't going to change a single thing to you.

No hard feelings mate, but please try to follow my advice.

There is no purpose to go further with this conversation. So, I will leave what you said about me alone.

Yet, I want you to know that you seem to glorify those who say good things about your game, naturally. At the same time, you must realize that others are still helping you with the negatives or improvement areas.

Now, I for my part have been the lead one telling you the negatives or should I say improvement areas that your game and website needs for the game (you can tell that I like helping you, because I created an user-friendly guide that was okayed by you). So, what gives (joking)?!

If I am going to be questioned or stated as having sarcasm for that, then perhaps I should not say anything at all. The gaming world is not a paradise. I think you know that by now. You have to take the punches and the blows and the positive incentives as honey.

I am trying to help you Mr. Game Developer. 8)

Now, I know . . . you are not going to send it through email, because you have 25 beta testers. Yet, I was asking if you can send it to me and perhaps Sherlock.

Yet, that is communication for you (I am glad that we communicated, just in case you took it the other way). Now, I know why you do not want to send it through email. Yet, my email is still there (if you change your mind mate).

No worries and no hard feelings. I appreciate you creating a fix. I will test that out and let me know if you want feedback on this too. I will gladly let you know what I think about it, if you want.

Not true. I used the game with the gamepad mate. Then, I tested your ability to use the keyboard. So, in this case, I will benefit as much as Sherlock would for the fixed version.

Thanks mate. I have to do this so that you can see clearly what I mean in this regard. :D

You just clearly demonstrated what I said. You used the keyboard. Sherlock couldn't. End of story.

Then again, I did tell you : This update is not going to change a single thing for you. The only one who would be entitled to an e-mail delivery, would be Sherlock. I don't see why I would go through that fuss, especially since the update might be dropped by his e-mail provider, sent to his spam folder, or god knows what. 16 Mo files and e-mail is not a good combination.

I don't know what makes you think I decline the bad things about the game. You're saying you're the lead one to tell areas of improvement from the game, you're wrong, I've had many coming already. You're saying I'm dropping down everything you say, I adressed each and every point you told me. Yet again, that's much more than you could ever expect from a big games company. Explain that to me, on the one hand, you're being sarcastic with me, keep talking about the same things again and again, on the other hand, I'm adressing each of your complaints and remarks, and somehow, I'm the bad guy ? I don't get it.

Could you tell me one example where I glorify someone who said something good about the game ?

Mate. I used the keyboard. Yet, I would just stand there on the court. So, I could not use it, technically. LOL.

I want your game to do well. So, like I said before, I will leave what you said be. I am not here to do a round vs. round post battle.

That is not my objective, and I am sure that this is not yours either. So, let us just leave it be.

Yet, the point is that I have the same problem as Sherlock. So, there is a efficient purpose to this posting madness (joking).

Therefore, I was happy to see that you worked on a fixed version for the game.

Thanks mate. I appreciate your hard work in this regard and just remember that this is not going to be 100% easy for the tester nor for the developer.

If you did experience it, you didn't point it out. More than that, the post I'm quoting above wasn't making any sense. In it, you imply that you talked before about problems with the keyboard (which you didn't), that you played the demo with the keyboard (which wasn't supported then), and that it was easier to get to the ball with the keyboard (which absolutely can't be and you wouldn't know anyway if, as you say now, you didn't get to move at all using the keyboard).

Plus you were criticizing the fact that I deliberately wouldn't want to fix that problem, which is outrageous because 1) I can't fix something I don't know of & 2) you will never find me saying that I don't want to fix something that is clearly a bug. Besides, in the same minute I made a post of my own to mention the fix, which makes your overall point dull.

I would be more than happy to put an end to this discussion, but it can't happen if you keep implying that I don't want to fix problems regarding the game, or that I don't accept any criticism, because I wouldn't be taking time to write here if any of this was true, and that's my reputation as a game developer you're damaging. I just can't let that happen.

With that, I hope we can start over on new ground.
