New Virtua Tennis Vid...

The graphics are amazing, though the game, no surprise, is as arcadey as it's ever been.

Best thing about Virtua Tennis: the game has Edberg. Might be worth the price of admission alone. :P

Damn! Bad news for Xbox owners.

"The PlayStation 3 version of Virtua Tennis 4 is going to be getting some exclusive goodies. Firstly, you'll be able to play as three legends, which won't be in the Nintendo Wii or Xbox 360 version: Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg and Pat Rafter."

May we please have a moment of silence. Image

Hm ok that's not really a bad News for me. I have a PS3 even if I don't like the Controller. I wish I could use the wired 360 Controller on the PS3.

But the Problem I have with all the Video-Ingame-Footage is that the Game looks almost to arcadey. The Animations look cheap and choppy and the Rallies to childish in my Opinion.

But this Impression could also deceive and maybe the Game feels at the end better than we thought.

Yeah I mean you know I think Improvements couldn't damage the Series.
I understand SEGA wants to keep the Arcade-Style but even if that's the Case I bet there is much possible to improve the Series.

I mean so long the Game plays good it's ok, but we will see.
I am a lil bit sceptical because of this Move Stuff what they try to sell us as s special Feature and what they put in the Foreground.

I am much more interested to the real old Thing to control the Game with a simple Controller. I am interested in the Physics, the Movements and the Gameplay overall based on the good old simple Controller-Mechanics.

The Team which works on VT4 is the original Team. They already worked on the first Virtua Tennis for the Dreamcast and this Game is a bad joke in the current Time. I hope it's not only a Remake form the first Virtua Tennis with strong Graphics. I really hope it's enjoyable gameplay-wise.

There are plenty of third party PS3 controllers that are basically copies of the Xbox design! Just look on Amazon.

Btw, if you look closely there is a trail behind the ball in TS4, and also a small 'explosion' air ripple thingy that happens when the ball hits the racquet

I always thought the air ripple was their attempt at ball fuzz...:?
