Is it worth buying?

Postby Samael » Wed, 21 Jan 2009 09:39

I played a pirated version of this game, just to see if it is worth the 20 bucks.Unfortunately,i couldnt make it to run online. My question is if it is worth buying for the multiplayer.I found the offline modes very entertaining. The gameplay is very-very addicting...But...Is it laggy online? Is it as fun?

I find that it is a very fun game offline. However, when I play it online, I often have very bad connections with users.

I do not get it, because I can play Top Spin I and II very well. However, with Tennis Elbow 2006 and 2009 and Dream Match Tennis, it is a different story.

I could never understand why the 2D game (Tennis Elbow) lags more than the 3D games.

It can be laggy when you play with people from south america . But if you have a reasonable connection playing with people from europe or even the states should be rather good.

I find the online better then against the computer, you should download the demo version so you can play with Mcenroe online to test. As that is for free.

Download the demo with updater.

Yep, if you buy a game, you can play online with all players... If you are plaing without full version, you can only choose a Mason... So thats bad :? !!

So, my advice is to buy a game :D :D

Actually one of the greatest if not the greatest DMT player of all time, Manuel, was number 1 player in the world using Mason. In proper hands, Mason can be very dangerous character. He has the best slice serve in the game, after Evans(Edberg) the best volleys and among the best slice shots and drop shots.

I was playing at that moment . I was nr.4 and manuel nr.1 . Somehow the guy was unbeatable but I got the better of him in the masters cup .........once :-)

Now I play like a noob it's crazy how the game really needs a lot of pratice.

But its ok I know we played , but it was a long time ago & I quit pretty early on, cause the lag issues with the game . I remember you cause wi did not have so much lag. And you had a mean serve

I think you had DB I remember something too. And yes I had a mean serve and it's also the reason why now as I don't pratice play so poorly . It's amazing how this game needs so much pratice like in real.
