The positive things until yet

Postby o Sinna o » Wed, 20 Jan 2010 12:57

You know what's really cool in this Game?

You can hit aces against human opponents. I played three Onlinematches yet and didn't hit a single one but my opponents did against me and I did a few against the CPU.

The next cool things is that the hits are not so predictable and you always have to be good at anticipate the ball.

I suck in this Game right now and just lost my third Onlinemaatch without wining a single Game but it really looks like fun.

And for all those who said this Game is full of lag. I played three Onlinematches and all of them were lag free.

i had really problems to serve well in that game .

when you can hit aces in DMT , than you are not bad at all in that game !!

when you play another player from europe you can play lag free .its only when you play opponents from oversea

you need definitivly time to come into DMT .
how i said before ,i needed hours of playing till i can handle a serve .
when you like to master this game you need definitifly daily practice .

when you will play DMT ,the best way to improve is to search for a trainingspartner or a coach where gives you true and honored tips . that saved alot of time

Yea. There is a difference experience from online to non-online gaming. You will get used to it. Just keep the mind settle. If it drives you crazy, then perhaps this game is not for you. It really takes patience to play the game.

Nice players on this tour will play with you. I am not the best but will be happy to hit the ball around with you! :P

stick with it sickbo! as a video/computer game/sim with regards to how they've managed to mimic the playing of the real game - not just from a tennis point of view - from ANY sim, this really not only stands head and shoulders above anything i've experienced - it stands completely alone.

as you improve and learn different methods of play, you'll have matches that you start off playing thinking after a few points you can never win....and then through grit and stubborn defending and patience, turn it around - those games may seem rare, but you will play many of them as you improve!

i would suggest playing thru the single-player career mode, once you have a set-up you like - the truth/reality is you'll see a greater variety of play here than you will in the online matches....generally - and i'd recommend setting the CPU level to hardest difficulty.

you'll already have an idea of the online standard, but to 'bring it home', to be in with a shout of winning against most people on here, you're going to want to be beating the top CPU players comfortably (i tend to beat roddick/fed CPU (very hard) 6-0 6-0 with my girl character  )

You might try mixing it up - play some CPU matches, then some online etc - the styles are quite different, but over time and lots of it, you'll learn good techniques and styles of play - initially prob good to stick with a single style and get good with it - then try some different ones - major advantage to be able to mix your style up in a match - predictability is quickly spotted by these crazy guys, and the punishment comes soon after!

All in all, given the time committed and 'rewards' gained (even losing a hard-fought match can be a great experience with this game!?), i think TS3 may well be the best game i have ever played, and the singe-most impressive sporting simulation i've ever experienced, bar none.

If you ask Mr Djarvik (lol!) nicely, he's a veritable yoda of wisdom in just about all things TS3 (xbox and ps3 by god!) - apologies to all the other yodas...no offense!

Stick with it bro- not lightly do i say you absolutely will not regret it 8)

Haha Guys I slowly begin to realize this Game is the Shit. Seriously Dude.
I slowly begin to mix up my Game a lil bit and found a good timing for my Service to hit the lines from time to time.

I just made over 10 Aces in a Onlinematch with Ford and my Opponent gave up in the third and last Set after I had a 3:1 lead with a break. I lost the first Set 4:6 won the second 6:2 and you know what happened in the third.

Haha I love this Game. In this Game are things possible like in real Ternis Matches. A good Server can hit a few aces anytime if he hits the line or close to the line.

And how you can mix up the Game between the Ralleys is just cool.
Seriously for this Game you need time but I already found out like to Serve better.

It's fun. :)
You can hit unpredictable balls in this Game. A long line shot is hard but always possible if you got the right timing like by your Service Game.

Hehe I slowly begin to appreciate this fine software.

Better than TS3. I swear.

I play it with a wired 360 Controller.

Seriously Guys try this Game if you wanna know what's good.

Hehe yeah maybe I should.

You know after this Onlinemtach yesterday my Servicegame against the CPU wasn't so strong anymore.

But this Game has so simple it looks many Points which come close to real Tennis. Because if you are in good Condition and got the right Timing for a strong Servicegame for example or the right Timing for the big Points during the Ralleys everything is possible.

It's really a nice Game and it begins to make fun so more you progress with your Gameplaystyle.

The ITST Members should definitively try this Game because it opens Possibilities which you don't know from other Tennis Games.
I know there is already a Tour going on here.

The Service Game ist the best example for that because I can't remember any Tennis Game, the Top Spin Series included where you could hit so realistic Aces against human Opponents because the positional play for a good Return is so deciding.

And the Ralleys in this Game are on the same Level so more you progress because you can hit some unpredictable Shots anytime you got the right timing and Position.

It's an interesting Game. The Graphics are middle class but the Gameplay which was ever the most important Part of a Game has a lot to offer.

Hehe I just got hard destroyed by a ITST Member.
Damn it's really hard to return if the Opponent serves well.
He made a few Aces. I had a few good Serves to but no clear Aces. But I had a few Ace Winners.

I made no single Game.

Hard Life but it's a nice Game.

I had another Match after this with Lag and the Opponent disconnected.
The Game with the ITST Member was lagfree.

Think it was ANILTJE.

Yup it was me. But you had a good serve already. Placement wise. That's a good beginning.

I agree what you say about DMT. The lag kills it though . But when playing peopel from Europe it is really amazing.

One thing they should have added is that players should get tired like in TS3.

But the nice thing is that shots are about placement. You have actual control over the ball. You can play safe and not hit the lines that much. But you might loose the point. Or take risk . Go for the lines but then you will miss easier.

You played really strong. But who knows. If I pratice enough maybe I can close up to you Guys but I guess it's a long way to go.
I notice you reached every Serve I played even the ones down the T-Line.
I mean you missed a few and couldn't hit them over the net but you reached them all with your Racquet.

6:0 6:0 is a lil bit hard. :D

I am sure you can.

I am not playing every day and I can really feel it. I play against people I normally should beat but as I don't pratice everyday it's a little too hard.

It does need you to pratice well. More then in Ts3. In Ts3 I can not play for a week and play normal after 5 minutes. In DMT that's different.
It's not that you can't hit the ball. But going for the lines and hitting the right shots at the right time as very hard.
