Zintonio slice advice with a dice. be nice!

So I can't seem to get my player to rally back Zin's slice correctly. Any suggestions on how to counter risk slice anyone?

its very difficult. personally, i try and just sprint to the short ball using R1, tap the slice button, and carry on and run to the net. by tapping the slice button, you hit a slow but relatively deep ball, and have time to get into a decent position for a volley. if you can pull it off, after losing about 4/5 points this way the short slicer will think twice about luring you to the net. its very difficult however, and about twice as difficult on 90/40.

Try not to pre press but rather tap the top spin.

Generally it is a good tactic to use little to no charge top spins against a risk slicer, he will mistime it almost every-time.

Problem is that if you press the shot button (charge it) before you actually start moving towards the ball - you lose the first step, your player becomes a bit slower. If you can teach yourself and not pre-press all the time, you will see how much faster your player reacts.

For the record - short risk slice when done right - is the best weapon in rally. It does a few things, wins a point most times, or sets you up for a put away. And a second thing it does is demoralize the opponent.

Cheese first class in my book.
