Just played juanluisriver and saw his stats as all orange or red on the left side stats and of course 90 power and i smply lost interest. Im done with men's tour as its such a joke. Sim only from now on. :D [/code]

I hate to do this (who am I kidding, I actually like it) but: I told ya so!!!

...and I dont mean you willjonesjr personally, but rather anyone and everyone who was initially opposing the idea of SIM.

I remember that Anil and me spend hours of forum, trying to convince people about SIM :D It only took a few years. 8)

I've started using all 70 player. You'd be surprised the number of exo matches I win with him. I love playing with him because he really forces me to be a little more all court then just defensive baseliner. I won a men's match with him, too! Before that I was using this player with 60 for power but a big serve and half decent return. @djarvik-yup, you were right. come to think of it. you kinda always are. :D

...I was one of willjonesjr's victims

I tweaked my player too though... not all FH BH points and Power... a little more all around.

btw I like the sim tour a lot for the same reasons that are posted in like every other thread and forum lol

diversity!! :D it's great and to know that you have to think more with a 75 power player or a serve and volleyer and really work your game it's more fun than just "oh let me defend against this 90 power stacked baseline basher."

to be honest, I've said it before, I can't play with lots of power. the points go so fast and it makes me not think. I need a little more time to figure out what to do. I tried more power against zintonio at the open and just couldn't deal with it. I feel it doesn't help me one bit.

Granted, I have a lot of improving to do... but perhaps the scoreline would have been closer if I had a more balanced player. My movement was definitely not as sharp as I like it to be, and you exploited it with the dropshots lol (I was SO mad lol :P). Against a player like you, a virtual wall, it pays to have options... and quick reflexes.

It's true. I've found that sometimes your only defense against a zintonio or juanluisriver type player(basic everyone who plays men's now) is to bring them forward. Speed is their big weakness but it's easier said than done. Zintonio hits so hard and his risk slice is so well exectued that I end up falling into his traps time and time again. His game is like the perfect weapon against my game because he is very comfortable at the net along with being super hero at baseline. Not much I can do against him and players like him. I'm still working on improving my game and hope one day I find the solution.

one solution: Top Spin 4 lol, but I'm sure you'll stumble on something to help unsettle the baseline basher mentality that's on the MS tour right now.
