Who is the best "newcomer" MS Xbox360?

Postby Norberto H » Fri, 14 May 2010 10:50

Well, not really "newcomer", but at least non-top10er 2009 and no veteran like Zizou, Aceusam, Rae etc.

Extremely hard to say for me, Murder seems to cause most people the biggest problems, but I personally have the hardest time beating IluvBillVal. Puttu is right behind those two guys in my opinion.

Whatever I've experienced against MurdaMindstate doesn't resemble tennis as I've watched or played it in real life.

The only time I saw a player crush three straight returns past an opponent was in 2002, when Kratochvil did so against Agassi at Indian Wells. But Andre was coming back from injury then, so his serve was more vulnerable.

Murda might murder our beautiful game, but he maintains the gentlemanly conduct of tennis in PMs, in which he's perfectly friendly.

Murda and bill are the best newcomers...

One guy that i enjoy playing is Metal2012 ... he has the same stats as me . I noticed Bill had the classic 90 90 on bh and fh same setup as Norberto and Murda... does that i mean i have to create it to stand a chance ??? Ms is becoming a one dimensional tour it's a shame .

If you want long fun rallies Mack , theSpecialist and Metal are the guys to play .

World Tour and exhibition. Painful matches, like Dementieva serving against Murray in Perth this year.

I'll be playing the French in ITST Sim...

Puttuu for me. Considering he likes to engage in rallies too and doesn't rely heavily on blind risk returns and short angled serves. He displays true skill and is great fun to play against which is what itst should be about 8)

For me I would probably say Puttu is my favorite guy to play on this list. I've always kind of thought of him and I as the two big guns of this current wave of players. Certain guys like Specialist and Murda I think have been around a little longer, but are both certainly talented.

I also agree with the lack of depth on the 40/90 tours. My preferred player has a 63 serve, yet there are just certain guys that play too well with a 4X90 setup to NOT counter with a 4X90 setup. I would definitely prefer SIM to 40/90 any day.

I would be curious to see a similar poll in the SIM format for newcomers.
Norberto H or bust.

Sorry but please delete me from this poll!

I am not a newbie, joined ITST exactly 1 year ago. The same with MURDA! He smoked my pal RAE 3 times around 1 year ago, and so he s as long as he or me on ITST.

It s hard to say...

I have much problems with Puttuu because he can read my service very good, better than BillVal. But BillVal is overall a little bit more skilled and an allrounder.

I pick Bill > Puttuu/Specialist

For me a new comer is someone who has started in the last 3 months, or maybe since the start of the 2010 season.

I can't comment on Metal or Briskstian as never played them before.

Specialist has been around since late last summer & has got a wealth of challenger titles - he is one of my hitting partners and a class player no doubt - but not a newcomer

Murda has been around longer than me so again is not a newcomer - the risk king

Niten (formerly drago) like he said is a seasoned player - improved over the last few months for sure and capable of causing upsets

Paitigalas - played him once, spanked him once - although I have seen his results have improved - not the best newcomer

So that leaves Puttuu & Illuv:

Puttuu - not a newcomer as such.
Illuv - a newcomer.

However, the above two, in my opinion, have achieved "best..." in their own rights.

Baghdad Kebab's ITST awards are as follows:

Best Newcomer of the year - Illuvbilval: Has all the game, winning titles, causing upsets to the very cream of the crop, shooting up the rankings and when I return to SIM will be one of my toughest opponents.

Best Improved player of the year - (without a doubt) Puttuu: Been my hitting partner for a long time and so I have literally seen this boy go from very good to top dog level almost overnight - starting to now make the big upsets happen on a regular basis and is now confirmed in my opinion as one of a handful of players to be beat - like Noberto, Illuv, Murda etc.

No seperation between Illuv or Puttu in skill level from my experience / results against them although they may be humble and say the other is the better player - I will let you chaps sort it out
They call me Baggy...

TS3: No.1 MSS - retired (15 titles)
TS4: No.3 MS - retired (2 titles)
