Little game of the week. (SIM ONLY)

Postby djarvik » Tue, 20 Apr 2010 15:31

:P

Here is new little game to keep us entertained this week.

Before the SIM tour, it was very hard to "name the player" for a best shot, as having both 90 FH and BH kinda means that everyone hits the same....it is just a matter of who times the shots better. But now, with SIM and different Styles...this should work.

So...

Put a name of the player to each stat!

Forehand:
Maximo's Nakamura. Lefty (seems to be the trend now) down the line on the run. Great shot.

Backhand:
Lonamer's Lopez. Lefty one-hander short cross risk top spin. Nasty shot. Throws my court positioning out of the window when he pull's this one off.

Serve:
Marlon's House. Lefty slice out-wide. Probably the single most effective serve on PS3.

Return:
Otlichno's Bishop. He may not be the most consistent returner, but when it clicks, you can't help but feel helpless.

Volley:
Villa's Burns. Not a powerful volley like Stryker, but very precise and tough to pass in the first set, before the stamina starts to ran out.

Power:
Josenylund's Gray. When his risks fall in, they are deep and strong. Very tough to get an upper hand in a rally that he started with risk.

Speed:
Coke's Thompson. Lighting fast, very hard to score points against his consistent shots that are simply keep coming and coming.

Stamina:
Alex's House. He just keeps coming....game in and game out. Wears you down.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

I experienced this firsthand the other day in our match. Every single F'ing time I served, I ate a return winner. It was ridiculous.

Forehand:
Liko´s cannon, if let him hit with his forhand, u have lost the point.

Backhand:
Alex´s house, he can hit amazing shots with his 54 bh.
Serve:
Djarvik´s nakamura, he mixes very well his services, very dificult read where he is going to serve.
Return:
Lonamer´s nakamura, i don´t know how, but he always hit a clean return, he always is in the correct side.

Volley:
Darkpaladin´s burns, the best volleyer i have seen.

Power:
Josenylund´s gray, he risks, and risks, and risks.
Speed:
Coke´s thompson, we haven´t played many times, but i remember i always needed one more shots for win the point.
Stamina:
Tonedawg´s gray, with 53 stamina, his power and movements are intact all the match.

Wow, I made the list! :D

Forehand: Maximo's Nakamura. You simply cannot hide from this shot, he disguises it well and always seems to be ready to wrong foot you.

Backhand: Lonamer's Lopez. His forehand is his higher stat but don't think you can win by simply focusing on his backhand side, or you'll eat and angled cross court winner.

Serve: It was difficult to choose between ToneDawgs Gray and MarlonBrando's House. They both have extremely reliable serve's and when I play them I'm always jealous of the way they serve.

Return: Maximo's Nakamura. Constant controlled aggression. Never expect (or get for that matter) a free point from him.

Volley: Definitely DarkPaladin's Burns, he is simply impossible to pass and can get winners from any type of volley. Though I do think my Bishop has the best drop volley with the stick it's a pretty high risk shot but I get it in on most occasions and get winners/forced errors from it.

Power: Josenylund's Gray and (when he's playing well) AndyMachine's Cannon. You cannot win a rally without risking yourself, not even the best mover can reach their big shots consistently.

Speed: Coke's Thompson. I don't play Coke that often but from seeing videos from ITST TV, he seems like a wall.

Stamina Alex's House. Nobody uses stamina as efficiently as he does.
Work me a boss.

Forehand: Lonamer's Nakamura. You cannot see the ball and your crying on your sofa when he hits his cross court.
Maximo's Nakamura is really good too.

Backhand: I'll say petrelli's bishop.Use bishop is difficult and he can hit with great timing and power brillant backhand in taking the ball early.

Serve: Tonedawg's gray.If he can serve more of 80% of 1rst serve its finish. You must anticipated again and againg;Good stuff.

Return:

Djarvik. He changes pace all time and take you by surprise with L2 shots and return always on your weak side shot. Maximo's Naka forehand down the line too  .

Power: Josenylund's gray.He never lost confidence and go for winners all time. You can believe me.Monster power and angles.Godzilla.

Speed and Stamina: Alex's HouseSo realistic player. His stamina is efficient contrary to my house's utilisation. He read the ball and the game so good.

"Little game": Alex's House and Parsons 's nakamura.Great variety. The last wins two titles in challenger sim and find great angles on shot and return and hits amazing drop shots.

See U;

Backhand- otlichno power and accuracy always a tough shot to counter

Serve- Alex he serves TOO well with a low serve stat

return- djarvik hes consistent with it

power- NITOFLAMENT it's ridiculous he makes few errors with the amount he risks

speed- coke he gets too a lot of shots

Stamina- hmmm alex again lol he utilizes stamina to its fullest
Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm :P
