Question about Ranking POINTS :)

ok here, say if i won a tournament (which will be in a while) and the tournament was worth 1000 points would i get the points that was for the places behind me ? like would i recieve the points for the :
Winner(1000)
Runner-up(600)
Semi Final(360)
Quarter Final(180)
Round of 16(90)
Round of 32(45)
Round of 64(5)

I never understood this, so i decided to ask the ITST community by making a post !

If you win the tournament you get 1000 points only. If your runner up you get 600 points only. You dont get to add up the previous rounds.

Murder don't I tell u that all the time I had to figure it out myself the correct way but Im at work and believe it or not I am thinking of ways to improve my game I realized I need to slow down I wish I was playing tennis instead of well being a good employee
