Tantsupalavik - Welcome back!

Postby djarvik » Wed, 14 Apr 2010 22:03

:D

I am really glad to see you on PS3! Add me, immediately!

Anyone who is looking for a fun tennis match should check him out. Loved playing him on Xbox tour. He was a force there, the innovator.

Little history bit:

Tansupalavik was the only player in TS3 ITST history to have won a Title using a 40 power player in a 40x90 tour, beating in the final no other then....me

A lot of my game came from him, from these early days of TS3 when we used to play a lot together. He was the one who inspired me to play a certain way and to not be afraid to experiment with stats....he introduced me to other numbers then 40 and 90.

Welcome!

I have had the honor of being the first rival of tantsupalavik in ps3, great player, very skilfully, his defensives slice are amazing, as already I said to him, he will be a player to bearing in mind.

haha howdi

i feel like Santoro when he played Australian Open after he retired.
well i really dont have any practice, my first matches were on sunday after a 7 month break.

I had PS3 from November already as i am still in love with Singstar :), Top Spin i just bought to give you a different kind of competition ;) and i have been beating the 100 power guys on WT with my SIM player, who sadly isnt good enough when playing against SIM setups (or Maximo is just too good ;)).

I cant find a player who suits me in SIM roster, Sixx is good, but he has bad reach. I would like a player who is at least 6 ft 2, speed over 80 and fh or bh over 85. Maybe I could use Sixx as a 6 ft 2 player, not 5 ft 9. Sadly reach is crucial, when it comes to returning serves.

what do you guys think, should Sixx be allowed as a 6 ft 2 player? :) i could play even with 50 power, only if he had more height :D

oh and ovhij promised to beat me 6/0 6/0 in Top Spin 3 ;) remind you he was 6 years old, when i was competing in Top Spin 1 :) :P :P

PS3 you mean :P Singstar is great! TS3 got me to like the song The Great Escape, I even bought it on Singstar :D

As you know, djarvik is relentless on the PS3 tour, he's taken a title using Sixx before  So, since you've outclassed djarvik with a 40 power player previously, I think you will do very well with 5'9" Sixx after you get used to the PS3

Tans, keep in mind, you only facing other SIM players from the list. Once this sinks in  you will have easier time to pick a player. There are not many good servers with high skill out there. Most times even the shorter players have time to move on to return.

Sound is right, I got a title using Sixx. Now working on getting one with Naka. Once I win title with Naka, I will use someone else. With a bit of Luck, I will get a title with each SIM. 8) (probably not)

Speedy players work now man. Coke is using Thompson, and he is great. Play him. Play Otlichno and his Bishop.

Who did you try so far?

BTW - I split my matches with Maximo daily. One day I win, one day he wins. He is a VERY good player.

thanx djarvik, lately we are playing good matches, and i think sixx is good for your style tantsu, but you can test johnson if you don´t need power or bishop.

He is the absolute opposite from TOMO. ...and yes, he volleys well.

His biggest strength is defense and variety. ....and returns.
