Am i cheesy or dont respect the rules?

Postby marlonbrando91 » Sat, 03 Apr 2010 16:19

I dont like to talk. And my english is pretty bad.

But this is important.

I have a problem. The first in itst career with Djarvik.

I felt since my arrived in itst and our match just no respect.Ok.
He says me first i dont respect the rules, not a clean way to play, one week ago in a match where he stopped.I walk on baseline on returns, in his view.

So today in a match, he stop again the play.Just after an amazing game break of his serve, with great shots and great play.He stopped, i use too many dropshots,"risk" serve, and slice after serve.

If i had take a video it will be laugh me.Just fantastic points during this match, we use both all the buttons and shots possible, risk,no risk, cross court,volleys....

I cant accept an unrespectful way. This is not possible. After explains he is a real fan of tennis, (of course not me...) he says me there are others players complains to me.

So come on, im polite i play in my view various clean play, and im very fair play.So tell me the truth.

I respect djarvik,he s great player, all our matches are closed and i play good tennis vs him.He s the one to says me something about my game.

So i just want to know, gentlemens.I am not 12.

Thanks.

I don't know you, nor do I play on the PS3 tour. I do know djarvik pretty well, though and I don't really see why he would say something about your game like that unless you were doing something that would warrant it. He's a pretty fair play, by the book dude but I think he's also a pretty lenient guy. Why not discuss it over PM or chat rather than message board?

No.He dont gives me any credit.Nothing.

I just want to know if the the players than im play on the online find me not real tennis, not cleanway, and dont respect the rules. This is clear.

So the way is "gg really funny" when a man win and "dont step on the baseline, this is not a clean way to play, not real tennis" when a man lost?two days later?

OK.I will wait.

Are you coming inside the baseline when you return?

Nah, its fine if Marlon wants to bring it to the forum, I have no problem with that. All our PM exchanges were respectful of each other and I assume we can keep it this way on the forum.

First Marlon, I do respect any individual here, including you. I may not respect the way you play, but I do respect you as a person....you have never given me reason not to.

Now to my problem with you:

We do have great matches and rallies, a lot. But, when you are down a break point on your serve - you do one of the following, wide serve, followed by a risk short slice to the opposite corner...sometime it is a mid court risk slice. If I manage to get to these balls, you then employ drop shots.....many....many of them. After serve as well.

In our last match, I made it my business to count how many you would pull of....I stopped at 19....and stop playing. I PMed you, that this is kinda lame and boring to me.

I understand that these are your safe plays....I just find them lame and don't want to waste time and counter them. God knows I can. I can play as lame as anyone if I choose to.

One more thing that you do, is step over the line on returns. Not before but after return. You stand so close to the line that after you pull of a risk return you end up stepping over the line. Its not a biggie....but yet another annoyance.

Like said to you via PM, these are MY problems and annoyances, not yours....you are free to do them as you like.....but if you gonna invite me to a friendly match, I want to enjoy it.....you do it in 1,2,3 matches....and I really not sure if I want to play you outside of ITST.

Nothing pisses me off more than a serve, short risk slice combo. That is not fair play.

i have no problem with it because its easy to counter and it depends how much times the player does it

Serve+Short Slice is the most difficult thing to counter and the easiest thing to pull off

You play fair, u do employ the the drop shot a lot but I know when U go to do it hehehe. U do a lot off volleys which makes it near impossible to get to it. But you play fair I think no need for controversy here in a public forum it's insults then locked or it completely depletes

Hi Marlon i think you are a great player and have great variety but i have noticed on several occasions when we have played you do sometimes take the ball from just inside the baseline, I have noticed it on each sim exhibition we have played , but i think its sometimes a vague rule , do we have to stand behind the baseline or can we help it if our player moves forward a bit when he hits the ball
