my luv is back

Postby diesel501 » Tue, 30 Mar 2010 20:08

i cant lie im actually loving this game more, if that was ever possible. the creation of my new set up i feel will catupult me up the ranking, where i stop i have no idea. i recently played norberto i lost but really felt i could have, maybe should of won final score 4-6 6-4 6-7 but i had the only breakpoint chance in the 3rd 15-40 which i screwewd up. then i had a match against iluvbilvally who in my books is destined for geatness i also lost 7-6 4-6 4-6 i had at least 8 break point oppertunities in the third ended up 12 breaks 0 converts to me and 7 and 2 converts to him. which was the difference. whats funny is after my matches everyone has excusses for why they either lost or nearly lost to 70 power . i didnt have much sleep last night or im i played crap, the fact is i have adapted my style to play total tennis. and the decrease has only benifited my style of play. i can pull of many i couldnt before its fantastic. rallies are awsome. i was a little trigga happy with lt & rt but i try not to use too much well unless my backs to the wall. i used to think what rallies when djarvic and alot off you guys was talking about now i know. look forward to meeting you all no excusses please. haha :) :D

Our last match you definitely were playing some pretty awesome tennis, I felt lucky to come out of that on top.

Very nice to hear pal - you were always destined to big things. Your risk was always a weapon, but now you sound like you have more control / consistency and are not giving away as many free points it should push you up to the next level.

As Puttu said, your serve was your main weakness - try getting used to the stick if you are not using it already, it really is the best for accuracy in my opinion.

I've I think rudduck serve animation is generaly hard to execute. I would change but am so use to it anything else feels alien. I think it has improved a tad.

you handily returned the favour with interest 6-1 7-5 normal service resumed :) playing with b rogers against your norm charatcer in between put me off my mojo hes garbage. when i returned to my norm charatcer first set felt like i still had b rogers. you ran for the decider though just realised where too, to edit your post about our matches hahah funny.

I don't really know if the sim counted as I said I wanted to test him was my first match with him, his serve against your return 59 fh 52 sv 67 power serve felt like it was about 2 miles an hr, just couldn't do much other than watch your double trigga risks fly by. But granted you done the job. B rogers is now living in a retirement home :)
