risk slice

Postby captainpetrufo » Wed, 24 Mar 2010 00:41

I listen to some players who complain about the risk slice. I wonder who think about them. I usually think about the players who complain about the risk slice are those with 40 in speed because they can not reach the ball. Thanks.

I only play sim, so no, I'm not a player with 40 speed....

SHORT risk slice I have a problem with. WORST is SHORT RISK SLICE DIRECTLY AFTER SERVE. It is a glitch in my view. There is nothing good about it, it is cheesy and boring gameplay, let alone tennis.

When an opponent does this to me, I always tell him in a nice way that it is cheesy.

Using short risk slice is NOT a DIFFICULT thing to do, as I can do it against the people who use it on me and hit a short risk slice winner after my serve (just to prove a point, and I don't ever use this shot when I play normally). There is no fun in it, it is just an unfortunate bad programming in TS3.

Risk slice is gay.

Many threads and discussions already in the last year. Good reading. Very good points made by all. Just do a search.

I have used the risk slice in my early days on here , but it def is a very cheesy shot esp if used straight after serve or in a crucial tie break lol , I will go out full 100 percent risk power before i will use a risk slice , and most people that have played me know that

I feel people who dont find the risk short slice cheesy just don't watch real life tennis. It just doesnt work like that, but this argument has been had over and over. Just use what you want and stop caring about whether its cheesy or not.

I agree mate , its just a very easy shot to pull off i guess as the buttons allow it, but this argument / discussion has to end sometime cos its very boring , we know it happens so get over it folks.

I'll never short risk slice, simply because I cannot hit it properly to save my life.
