I got home earlier and was excited to play our SIM match, and I got the Red Ring of Death...
I had it before, I just reboot the machine or unplug/plug the power cable to fix this problem, but this time it seems permanent.
If this is any indication of my weekend, then I've hated it already.

It's sad for sure....I was also exicted to play that match.
Really too bad.
Hope you can fix it with this console and you don't have to buy a new one... but i guess the 3 ring of death have a permanently warantee, no?

that real sucks. that means 3 weeks till you got it back from microsoft.
i had this twice. both times it was first generation xboxes .
i never buy a xbox360 anymore ,where is constructed before december 2007!!
all console from later time is very safe .no RROD anymore(maybe 1 from 100000 )

RROD is shocking- no more words necessary.

BTW:in germany you can repair RROD for free .microsoft gave extra garantie for RROD !!
I hope microsoft handle that in same way in canada.

It could be worse. I'm on my 3rd Xbox and I've never had the RROD. That means that none of them were under warranty.
