TS3 Sim - Final 2010 Roster

Postby Rob ITST » Thu, 11 Feb 2010 04:42

As promised, we have made changes to Cannon and Bashmaov, as well as Bishop.

The new pdf can be downloaded HERE(UPDATED). The changes will take effect with the Barclay Dubai Tennis Championship and Abierto Mexicano Telcel Sim tournaments. For any tournament starting prior to the Barclay Dubai Tennis Championship and Abierto Mexicano Telcel Sim tournaments, you may use the old characters throughout those tournaments. In other words, any characters which were allowed at the start of a tournament, will be allowed at the end of that tournament.

Some notes on the changes that were made:
Cannon -
lowered power from 86 to 75
increased serve from 81 to 86
increased backhand from 51 to 53
increased stamina from 63 to 67

Bashmakov -
lowered power from 90 to 75
lowered return from 76 to 65
increased speed from 54 to 63
increased volley from 52 to 69

Bishop -
lowered power from 61 to 58
increased volley from 66 to 67
increased serve from 56 to 57
increased speed from 71 to 72

Please note that Cannon and Bashmakov also received a Height and Weight adjustment.

I would like to thank Rob, Anil, Cro and myself :D for spending countless hours creating, testing, discussing, arguing and agreeing on the players. A lot of factors were taking into account with this final revision, it was not easy.....but at the end of the day we agreed on a few key points that propelled the change forward, into completion.

I'll be happy to explain the thought process behind each and every change we made, if anyone wishes.

We believe the change balances out the roster even further, adding a few layers of "SIM" to already Hugely successful Tour. We believe that EVERY player on the sim roster now has a fair chance in succeeding on the tour, each one has strenghts, each has weaknesses - all of which are exploitable.

Enjoy it guys!

Cool...does this mean we can finally cut out the passive-aggressive character discrimination???

Pllllleeease even though I don't use Bash or Cannon (at the moment), can we ALL stop with the subtle little insinuations that they're somehow "cheap" or "unbalanced" or "cheesy" to use.

1st it was promised that the SIM characters developed at the end of '09 would be 'set in stone'..that obviously was crap

2nd it was kinda implied that this would squash any arguments about 'cheap players' and that no player would be 'taboo' or 'off-limits' or whatever. This also was obviously crap.

I don't want to start using one of these characters and become the guy that you all secretly hate and talk about behind my back.

I think we all secretly talk about you behind your back anyways, but your point is well taken.

However, it was pretty obvious that Bash was in a different league from the other characters on the list. I never noticed an imbalance with Cannon or Bishop though.

Totally with you on the transparent half-insults though... I've inadvertently done this myself in the past, but quickly realized I was being a douche in the process.

I didn't even created Bashmakov coz didn't boxing in the same category I thought, but the new one seems to be great ... I'll give it a shot. Better than Jansen for S&V i think.

GOod job once again poeple, i know it's long and sometimes must be frustrating but hey...don't you like it??

OMG you guys have raped basmakov, you've made him from a hero to a zero you could of kept him half way at leat, reduced the power for obvious reason he was far it did become a 1 man show everyround until my temp retirement I played bash even with friendlys I also used him so yes change was a must, but he's angles arnt great, with so much power angles isn't needed now you've taken everything from him including hight. It's a bit much if you ask me but when I'm back I will try him. I don't know why bishop had to change again I thought he's reduced power hammered him already. Cannon well I'm sure someones just out to get baggy cause he's the only one I ever saw playing with him. Count down. I will be back! husband to a murdered belief, father to an honest opinion and I will zacked my revenge in this life or the next.

I like these changes , I think increasing the speed of bashmikov was a good idea, will help make up for his reduced power i think

:tu great job!

lowering power to 75 it's a good idea...u respected the idea to create "strong server player" but now they respect "sim soul" too...u can rally against him
bashma seems Karlovic...great serve,good volley...also S&V could appreciate him :!:

why did u low again Bishop power :?:
