Puttu Puttuu had arrived...

Postby Baghdad Baghdatis » Sun, 31 Jan 2010 20:11

Well, following in the footsteps of "...is coming" i feel it is time for a change.

So, Puttu Puttuu has arrived!

This guy well deserves a mention for his progress as of late. I should know as he has been one of my training partners for some time now.

Over the last couple of months his form has moved from 3rd to 4th gear, he is so strong in rallies and very talented on positioning his shots, risking when required.

I feel he is within touching distance of that top 10 5th gear form, turning final missed opportunities and 6-7 6-7 etc into big wins / upsets. All you need i feel now is that winning mindset / mental edge to pull through breakers etc, kinda like Andy Murray.

Congrats mate, i think its time to turn you xbox profile from "I am a looser" to "I am not such a looser anymore"

Respect

Puttuu was always a skilled guy. But like me, he was sometimes very nervous using RT and LT.

I think now he s more confident.

hmm I don't think I have played puttu puttuu yet but look forward to doing so in the future :) Speaking of players to watch out for, a special mention to IloveBillVal. For a newcomer to the tour, he is already playing at an unbelievable level with reaching a main tournament final and taking a set off the world #1 in the Aussie Open.

BillVal was the only one to respond correctly to the question:

moose party? ;)

While everyone else was scratching their heads and asking wtf i was talking about, he instantly said "PLEASE!"

I think Q. Rease knew that one, but he didn't want to embarass you all...personally I think that's why he was banned, because he 'knew too much'

Q Rease made it clear that he was down, but had already committed to a penguin box social.
He was missed. :(

yeah i know i came pretty close in our sim match , when i had 3 set points on your serve in the second set. I wasted them completely!!! and our 90 40 was pretty long , even though i got that second set tie break off you it never felt like i had my chances to win that one . but i guess what it has done is that is has given me loads of confidence so at least thanks for that....

This guy just absolutely ruined me, despite my recent above average form I had no chance. Even on my serve (and serving pretty well) I was stumbling around like a 40 overall character from the first shot. I couldn't do anything, even if I hit the lines it came back harder and on a different line. :?
Puttu is my new pick to win the whole tournament, I tried everything and couldn't make anything happen, or even make him uncomfortable.
Great playing bro.
