Very nice surprise for me to think that I initially didn't even make the cut for the sim wtf draw, so to end up making the semi-finals as a reserve player is very sweet 8) 40-90 has been pretty much my priority this year but with reaching #2 and a slam final under my belt, I think it is time to seriously focus on sim next season before TS4 arrives.
The best thing is that I still feel that I have a lot of improvement to make in sim too, whereas I have peaked in 40-90.

In my opinion, you have the kind of game that really has the potential to shine more in SIM than 40/90, just like Puttu I would say the same for, and myself as well.
Norberto H or bust.

I can confirm it! RAE lost to ZIZOU 6-7 6-7.

He told me about the loss, said he tried to record it on itst, but there was some error on itst result page.

....and the Semi-Finalists for WTF SIM are.... drum roll.....

ILuvBillVal VS AMAZING ZIZOU

Mack2300 VS Puttu puttuu

Since the amount of matches won and sets won are exactly the same, and since there are 3 players involved and head-to-head simply doesn't work, we shall count the games won!

ZIZ = 32 games won
J0KER = 31 games won
RAE = 28 games won

Congrats guys.

Puttuu def Mack 7-6 7-6

Just managed to squeeze past Mack ... it was a very tough battle with long rallies . We both had some lag making it hard to return or use any kind of risk . Again congrats to you for making it to the semis . Your wins over Norberto and specialist were big statements of intent!

I was lucky , i am glad i was able to play well enough today ! Very anxious to play this final !

it's going to be tough man ! But i feel very motivated ! If i i lose that match it's not going to be down to my level of play , i have been quite consistent in the last couple of days . The guy that beats me is going to be the better player . Sounds stupid but sometimes things are that simple !

Billvall or Zizou i'm ready old boys !!!

yeah congrats to Puttu on making the finals! One thing I have really noticed in sim is that I am consistently inconsistent :lol: One match I am returning and risking like a dream and then the next match I am spraying the ball all over the shop.
I just didn't trust my strokes at all today. More often than not, I would send the ball either long or in the net after 2/3 shots. My main chance came early in the first set when I had 0-40 to break and then dropped 5 points in a row lol. Puttu seemed to really settle into the match after that while my level started to drop a bit.
Still, can't complain too much after a nice tournament. 400 points will do nicely though not enough to crack into the top 10 yet.

The final should be interesting but to be honest, I can only see BillVall winning this tournament. He is just too good at the moment.

You can never know mate.I know I'm not the most liked guy around here and not the most famous but since TS3 is almost over, i'll say what I think.
Poeple never seem to mention me when they talk about the best players. I'm not saying I am, but my ranking says I am. I also always loose to the best best players but still..... Mack, I know you check everything here so you should know I am one of the only guy who ever beaten Billval in SIM. And i could also remind you I got a breack opportunity at 3-3 in 5th set of the us open final.
So guys please, I'm not asking for consideration but for some sportsmanship. I will loose to Billval, no problem and don't worry but no need to write it to frankly and one last thing : let me remind you that Puttu has also beaten him recently...in straight sets.

this counts not for me, .
for me you was allways a nice person and an awesome player who can beat everyone at a good day.
you are a respectable honorfull member

i thope you know that .

BTW: i sayed allways what i think ,also during the tour was highly allive -maybe thats why i have often no big status at all by some members -but hey ,i allways can look in the mirror. and i survived, and i´m still allive -stronger than ever :lol:

I see your point Zizou .

The thing here is that on paper... it appears that Billvall is the clear favourite. I don't blame anyone for stating the obvious . He won the us open etc... But you just never know , this isnt 40 90 , sim is a very different beast things can turn around very quickly . I checked the record Billvall leads 4-2 against you and 4-3 against me ( I have the best record against him in sim :)) . It means that somewhere somehow both us managed to bother him .

I firmly believe that if you are completely focused on the task at hand . Then you have a great chance !

As for me , i know that Billvall is better than me . It takes a good pair of nuts to face him in a rally ... Anyhow at the end of the day , he is supposed to win this title . The pressure is mostly on him hahaha !

Ziz, I keep saying that in SIM you just never know.... I always thought of you as a top 10 player, nothing less. You have a great Net Rushing game, second to none. I really don't know anyone here who can do what you do when going forward.

Puttu right, on the paper you are the underdog....but no way that means that you can't win. I am not even saying a "chance" of winning, I am sying you can definitely win.

Then you can win Puttu, as he will crumble under tremendous pressure on his shoulders of being the favorite. :twisted:

BTW - I never once won more then a set against Iluv :cry: he simply eats my futile attempts to confuse him on the court and says thank you. I can win Puttu and Ziz, but not ILuv. :?

SIM is great! The match-ups and styles are very pronounced and recognizable, unlike 40-90.
