Mack2300 wrote:Actually it was the "line dancing" that was the final straw for me. Personally I find it incredibly distracting when it looks like your opponent is having a spasm attack at the other end of the court, not to mention very unsporting behaviour. You'd expect this in wt, not in itst.

but he isn't the only one
there are many people on ITST (XBOX and PS3 tour) who do a lot of line dancing... :?

but that's just the tip of the iceberg !

there are always people who abuse things to the max

line dancing, maximum ballbashing, riskslice returns, 30 dropshots in 50 rallies, short slice after return...
everything abused to the maximum, i've seen it all !

and if there's no rule, they just say "what's the problem? it's within the rules"

so it's just an endless discussion

I strongly agree with Pink Moozy here...
Tennis is a "gentlemen's sport"...Not a sport/game where you have to "own" your opponent, whatever tactics it takes...

so its okay to play loud heavy metal music during the match over microphone -?
or screaming during opponent try to serve?
only its not explizit forbidden with a rule ?
come on there is a line of fairness in itst matches
esspecially with murda we discussed it 1000 times and he promissed to stopp linedancing
murda is simple Image

pink its about linedancing ,and the only persons where was linedancers in itst matches was EQUIETESINDALLAS and MURDA MINDSTATE
no one else ever i saw linedancing in a itst match.
when i ever must play murda in a itst match i´m prepaired for it -with stuff what is confirm with itst rules -but far over the fairplay lines
you say i can do all without inside returning and tramline serves ,?
i think different in that point .

BUT...........

murda ,chees me with linedancing and i start my mastercheesy tricks .
only for you i test out the possibilitys to disturb you !!
i´m out murda - you never will learn it .

its up to itst management to create a rule against linedancing ,or this discuss comes back again and again and.............again !!

i'll never understand what this dancing is all about

the only tennis player on court i remember being close to dancing was Zina Garrison-Jackson... (ok, she was just shaking her butt...)

I agree with you, but the problem is that everybody's definition of fair play is different.

As moozipan said, there are people who play within the official rules but push things to the absolute limit to try to win at all costs, get in their opponents' heads, or because they think it's fun. Then there are people at the other end of the spectrum who will go so far as to never (or rarely) use risk shots or serve out wide. Everyone is different.

Without a consensus opinion on all these tactics, it's hard to come up with more rules.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

i can accept every ingame tactic in TS3 !!!

but not using the linedancing return glitch in account with disturbing your opponent during serving !!

for me this are 2 different kind of shoes

Many say I am a good returner - and I don't line dance.

Why?

Maybe I should start?

Honestly, my problem with line dancing is that when opponent does it, my screen moves left-right slightly, as he dances (it shakes)....making it harder for me to time my serve. To me that is a problem. I start serving less efficient....and my whole game slowly follows.

All of you line dancers out there, you don't have to do it to "be more responsive" on returns. All you have to do is stop pre-pressing and make one little step after your opponent throws the ball up.

Pre-pressing is equal of pulling your racket back, making a back-swing.....so it is reasonable to assume that if you will be waiting for a serve with your racket in back-swing position your movement and reaction will suffer.

An in game glitch solves it - hence you line dance. To be able to charge the shot early to get maximum power and be responsive to return.

All I am saying there is a way to avoid it. And it is super annoying.
