but creating players, all of us will play with players who are even stronger than those 3 players u mentionned bro

but if for example we play with a player who got the same statistics of those 3 players u mentionned earlier, then, there won't be any difference between the different players...
i think that we have to play with the pro-players because there is no sensation playing with players who got 90 nearly everywhere...

sure, and that's why the new 90/40 rule has been implemented: to avoid unrealistics setups of players with average 70 that are way stronger than rog or raf ;)

i didn't got your point very clearly ^^' actually u cannot create an exacp copy of federer, nadal or roddick, 'cause they're 75 average players, while the ones you can create, as u know, are 70 average.
anyway, if you trust me, from us open on u'll see less unrealistic setups: witj just 90 power, you are actually forced to create a more balanced player :D

anyway, i guesds that itst philosophy is like to give each player a real identity as a player himself: we're not here to see which real player is expected to win every tournament, simulating it on ps3, but to see who's the strongest bitch with a joypad in hand. consequently, giving the player the possibility to create a player ad hoc to his capacity and skills, given an equal for all amount of points, implies more strategic choices than simply choosing rafa 'cause he's balanced, he runs like a rabbit and got a 2 handed backhand ;)

All you guys seem to basically create 1 of 3 or 4 custom characters, anyways- IMO using the pro characters is way better than the stupid custom characters, in any tennis game. you guys are trippin.

No rules against the risk slice return inside the baseline?
Today I have seen someone in our community play like that.

I know, you think everyone complains too much, and 99% of the time I agree with you. This is something you have to play the game to understand though.

Really, they did a good job on TS3. There are only 1 or 2 things that I'd say are cheesy, and they're pretty obvious imo.

To answer Pichachu; No, no rules against anything yet. But if something becomes an issue, we will address it.

I know, I know...I'm only speaking from experience with tennis games, in general. I am not pretending to know ANYTHING about TS3, because I don't. Tennis is tennis, though, and most of these games are really, really similar.

Question: is this 'inside the baseline risk slice return' worse than the no-momentum slice in TS2?

I wouldn't say it's worse, because you can miss. But it is by far the easiest way to win points on your opponents serve, and countering it is probably harder, and more boring than the empty triggers were.

I really wish you would pick up the game. I think you'd see why there's the complaints. They're so frustrating because the game is otherwise nearly perfect. It's really just 3 things, and I don't see anything else being a problem.

I know what you mean about tennis games being similar, but this one's in class by it's self. They got so much right on this one.
