EPOX, I told you I deleted you quite simply because I would never invite you to a match again - it seems silly to keep each other on a friends list if we will never invite each other or to a match. I told you that after the matched and apologized that it has come to this.

Players like Joe, Illuv, DJ (al), Puttuu, Zizou, SMP andyroro, moralspain (and others) are the reason I turn on my xbox and play the game - win or loose guys like this will always remain on my friends list.

On a separate note did Joesixtoe retire (6-6 vs Epox) for similar reasons? If not then excuse me for the coinicidence.

Anyway, I am just going over the same stuff over and over again....

puttu puttuu just whooped my *** in a match. Granted i wasnt doing well on my serves, but we still had some pretty nice rallies.
I will be ready for those nasty crosscourt shots he likes to hit next time though :twisted:

Yeah Puttuu is a class player, although on a different day the match could of gone the other way. You are both Top 10 MS and for good reason

I would like to close my involvement in this this thread on a funny note:

I turned on my xbox last night to watch a film on Sky player called the "Last Castle" with R Redford, put my slippers on, my fiancee had just made me scrambled egg with cheese on toast...

...I had 2 voice messages from EPOX. I have not had a voice message since I first bought my xbox live when some random geeza's were begging me to join their party of 3 to play pro evolution soccer.

Now imagine it, my fiancee was sitting there and I briefed her with what had happened earlier in the day with my match and she wanted to hear the message. Now I wasn't expecting it to be a message of love but if I could play it over this I am sure a good few of you would chuckle as I indeed did.

In a voice over that was absolutely a cross between Golum (out of Lord of the Rings and) & Yoda (Star Wars) and EPOX had obviously gone to alot of effort to deliver it with precision in the 10 second window:

Voice Message 1

"IIIII......Am....Yourrrrrrrr, Mother.....Hahaha (a crokey laugh) :shock:

Voice Message 2

"Youuuuuuuu, areee, the choooooosen ONE!!!!!! :lol:

I listened to it a few times because at first I was pretty sure it was a voice clip from Golum or Yoda but on closer inspection it wasn't. Honestly, I was wetting my sides, my fiancee didn't find it funny but just said its 'simply weird'.

I wish I could play it back over ITST - Nice going dude!

guys you must remember that english is not epox s first language . What he says may come out a completely different way . He plays the way he does, it is the not most exciting style of play but that s him . He is not going to change. He deserves his place here No need for this thread in the first place .

I can t recall people creating threads about Norbertos play or Murda s( need to check )

Anyone can see that this type of thread doesnt show the very welcoming side of itst. Some egos cant take it and get hurt lol...

I cant think of a perfect style of play ... i get pissed off with the best of you . Some players have complained about my all out risking , when the same guys bullied me off court the previous weeks . These days all it takes is a sneaky slice and i get mad . I do it myself to show my opponent when he abuses it but at the end of day lets all relax . We are all receptive to different things . Some want the ball bounce , the server s pace Etc... Let s all chill . I am trying .Baggy as you said dont play epox full stop . You are right its the best thing to do .

At epox forget about it and move on . Do not take personally .

Fair enough Puttu - you speak the truth. I know we get on and also you are a friend of EPOX so you are trying to be rational. I respect you for that.

I am too passionate about matters like this therefore as I said before, I can go a bit over the top.

Noberto's style and Murda's etc have been selected many times before, many many times, I can find and direct you to the threads but its not important now.

The point is that even though I am aware this kind of play goes on, until you experience it in the extreme then you kind of forget it goes on (if you know what I mean)

The only part I don't agree with is the whole "bringing the reputation of the site down" case, Jaylove said something similar earlier in the thread.

The way I see it is that if people have something to say, then say it. I don't want to beat around the bush when it comes to fair play. Therefore if people are looking to join ITST and buy into the SIM or general fair play type rules here at ITST then great - I would have been very disappointed to join the site a year ago and and find out that this tour was no different to the world tour.

I have stuck around because I embrace the sportsmanship of the site both in the construction of the tournaments, the regulation, and more importantly the conduct by players. Therefore I don't think that by trying to embrace this very philosphy I am in anyway downgrading the site or putting people off.

The only thing I am risking is being maybe other members thinking I am a touch out spoken, my intentions are not bad.

you guys must bring to your brain that the rules from sim and regular tour are the same in TS3 .

so stopp this crazy discuss .
create rules or shut up !
its ridicolous to bash people here only coz they play a better and more clever gameplay than yourself !

Goa, there is nothing bull about it.

For someone who just played 90-40 I wouldn't expect you to understand.

It has nothing to do about winning, I can't believe how far off the mark you are on that.

So let me see, because there are "no rules" then people (i.e. me) have no right to talk about issues or thoughts or even criticism.

Maybe someone as hollow as you might just play for winning with zero intention for fair play and sportsmanship but don't put me in your category. Yes I want to win, of course everyone would like to win but not for endless drop shots and risk LT+RT all match.

All my opponents I have lost to, I always show them respect after the match and appreciate I was not the better man. Geeps I lost 7 times to Coolhand and we were having a laugh about it in the end, I was frustrated at times and wanted to win but knew he played fairly.

So your quotes are so poor they are completely invalid. Maybe it is easy for you now you have left the tour to just throw in completely random analysis - although if that is your interpretation, so be it.

However remember not so long ago you were indeed in the centre of very similar discussions on the forum about line dancing, play, top 10 calibure etc (or whatever) so don't be playing the whole "its just a game and its all about winning and every one else os a big fat liar". How old are you?!!

Not long ago everybody was talking about how cheap short risk slicing was and nobody really thought there was anything wrong with risking. Now, as not many players use this tactic and it seems now everybody is becoming pickier and pickier about what "fair play" is.
