I used to play with Burns but it´s hard to cope with 54 power and a weak wing of 51, especially on return games. Jansen instead has mediocre groundstrokes 68 and 63 but compensates that with high power 77.

I see myself as an agressive baseliner who rushes the net when possible. That is on return games, when i serve i S&V like 80%. With that statement Jansen might be better for me, especially on clay.

O wait yeah roland garros is next week, perfect timing 8)

You think? This sounds most interesting.... We have a similar play style 8)

And yes petrelli, he's the only player with above 75 in power.

jansen is a good baseliner, for example better than thompson, bashmakov or johnson, is a very complete player.

I can't let you say Jansen is a good baseliner. If you're with him means that you're a good player cause he has no wing weapon.
I like Jansen very much but it s because I play a lot at the net. If you don't rush the net, it's really tough to battle from the baseline against a good baseliner.
More over, I don't think there is a huge difference between 74 or75 and 77 in power. Cool to have 77 though !!

not that i have anything to add to the little discussions throughout this thread but, I've just used Bishop and am really comfortable with the serve. Even though it takes me a game to get going. I double faulted a game away in a match against Cro Morgan in Fergana challenger.

that is all. Thanks.

I just noticed really how easy it is to serve with the buttons using nakamura, especially just using the right trigger, now i know how people hit those slice serves constantly. I think if you could only use the stick, serving would be harder and less consistent, especially slices as i find them hard to keep pulling off. Ive been trying to use the buttons to get more variety, not too comfy with them though. And i think naka is definetely the toughest player, i'm abandoning trying to serve and volley againt one, i'm afraid it will have to be naka vs naka, the returns are just way too good and being has burns has the big disadvantage of 51 FH, 53 return and 54 power lol i find it hard to cope with the slices to the forehand, so for now i'll fight naka with naka, so to speak.

I agree, no matter how good you are with S & V, there really isn't much you can do to beat a 'decent' Naka.. (unless you hit constant wide serves, even so, a good Naka will return those for winners)

yes, jansen is a good baseliner (but there a lot of characters better than him), and of course if u play with jansen is because u want finish at the net, but u can play well when u are returning from the baseline with him.
