Cheap points are like Drugs. Very addictive and it takes a real man to stop. You start going into denial when confronted. We need to do an intervention for some people here

Pilot Pen MSS Maximo (Nakamura) def. Likos (Cannon) 6-7, 7-6, 6-3.

One of the best matches i have played, really good match, from the first ball i knew that Likos was inspired today, he played the best tennis that i have seen him, i felt really uncomfotable, couldn´t play my game, the variety in his shots and his defence was making me crazy, anyway i had 2 bp in the first set, but couldn´t convert, in the tie break likos managed a mini break in the first point, i could recover it, but he converted 1 mini break more and i finally he won the tie break 7-4.

The second set was very similar, both wining our services without problems until i had 2 new bp with 5-5, but likos saved again and we went to tie break, honestly, i thought i had lost, he was serving for the match with 6-5, and i risked with my return and he starred the ball in the net, i was really lucky, i knew that with a normal return the match was lost, and finally i could stole the tie break after suffering during other two fought points.

i was ready for the third tie break, i didn´t see how i could break his service today, but with 4-3 i hit some good returns and likos made an unforced error that gave me a new chance, and after a long rally, this time i converted it and won my service easily 40-0.

Indeed it was the best three setter i have ever played in my "career". I knew i had to take you to tie break in order to have my chances of beating you, because we all know that you have perhaps the best serve on tour.

Into the match now, we both played fantastic tennis, i wished we could recorded this one to show it to the community! Lots of rallies, attacking and defensive tennis combined with net play, this match had it all. Winners on the run, i really enjoyed our match despite i lost. I really blew my chances in 2nd set tiebreak, i was over confident and a bit relaxed to be honest and you punished me!

At least from now on i ll be fully focused even if am winning 6-0!!

Congrats maximo for your comeback and i wish you the best in this tourney and in USO as well :)

Was a really tough match, he play in high level, goods grounstrokes from the baseline and excellent serve. Corrbuster was a fair runner up of this tournament.

DRII- NAKNAMURA SMASHED RILEY108- HOUSE 6-1 6-4 final

not much i can say DRII completley dominated this match, my timeing was way off in this match proberley the worst match ive played for quite a while :( this could of been down to DRII tactics he kept alot of the ball to my fh, but DRII played some of the best tennis ive seen this year, he served well, his shot selection was spot on and most of all his composure and concentration was spot on, if DRII can the level he up he played against me last night he'll take some stopping,,, congrats DRII very well played,, i look forward to our next match :D

nitoflament defeated DRII in China Open mss 7-6, 6-7, 6-3

I knew it would be a long match and stressful, so I had to play a very elaborate game and try to be concistence, because DRII is a player who is constantly attacking.
1.Set: Very tight. We both started quite shy and analyzing each game. However, I took the chance and broke his service very quickly. Bad luck mine that DRII recovered the difference when I was serving 5-4 for the set. Defined in an easy tiebreak.
2. set: the thing has not changed much. Very long and hard. Very good rallies. No reason why, but my service started to fail and it seemed that I had forgotten how its done. LOL! He also had problems with his service too. Defined in a closed tiebriek, by 9-7.
3.Set: Both had trouble serving, but li was ucky and broke his serve and keep the difference to the end.
DRII! was a great game, congratulations on your performance, every time you are improving and more and it shows! well done.
