I gave you a chance to tell me all of this . This was after your match with Zizou . You did not tell me anything because you were rushing off to play a match ! common man !

What i don't like is that i gave you the opportunity to tell me ! You chose the two faced reaction by saying that you had lag and that you made your peace with ( fair enough)adding that i played well and that i should win the tournament now ... am i wrong ? dont be polite and encouraging one minute then tear the way i play the next minute .

You are full of **** pal >

Good call Cro, so to bring this thread back in line anyone else have any predictions for RG SIM?

Anyone like to disclose who they are intending to use e.g. Bucci / thompson etc?

Any dark horses?

P.s. Puttu / Djarvik, lets make up on this one yeah - you are both class players and have my respect both on and off the court....
They call me Baggy...

Some interesting predictions.

"coolhand is coming" - its about time, will be good to see your skills again in the SIM arena - have you shaken off your rust yet?

I am using Cannon, he is my guy, tried Gray for a bit but not for me...

...Just had an belting organised warm up with Djarvik on Roland Garros clay.

Baghdad win 4-6 6-3 3-6 6-4 7-6.

It really could of gone either way, was trailing a break down in the 4th but managed to pull it back - a bit of lag on his part which was a shame though - DJ is a handful, both of our thumbs are soar! So if we loose in the 1st round we have an excuse

:tu Great match man. Good stuff coming back. I started to think ahead up a break in fourtth set  and you know what happends then.....

Some grat rallies and points there.....it was tough to score against you, the ball seems to come back no matter what. But, the most impressive part, is 1H BH. I usually break these with realative ease....but yours was the most solid one yet. God knows I threw a lot at that side: short, long, slow, fast, high, low.....but you timed all the shots really well, exceptionally well. I envy you here, there is no way I can time the ball so well with 1h BH....and I want to.

Thanks for the match man, its definitely was the longest yet, just over 2:05.

After Baghdads match with djarvik, i decided to play my first 5 set match since the AO.

Coolhand (Cannon) beat Djarvik (Nakamura) 4-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3

Stats (Coolhand/ Djarvik)

1st serve% 92/ 86
win on 1st 72/ 68
win on 2nd 60/ 75
aces 2/ 0
D.F. 1/ 4
winners 64/ 44
errors 41/ 35
break points (4/11)/ (2-4)
total points 130/ 137

It was a long match, but exciting for me, i hope djarvik felt the same way. In the first and second set, djarvik was hitting his shots and angles nicely. On djarviks serve i wasnt doing much in the first 2 sets but in the last 3, i went for more on serves that i felt i could punish and it payed off. fun match djarvik!

feels like i finally got the rust off from my break, well at least in ms and mss anyway :D :D

tough match man, great comeback. I kinda hoped you will lose your compousure in the third, but instead it was me who completely lost it. Well played, definetly enjoyable battle!

Note to self: Roland Garros is best of 5 dammit, keep your head in it!

Back on subject, I won my first round in 5 sets as Gray against Moralspain as Thompson.

First set Moralspain broke twice to ease through the set.

In the second and third set I managed to break him in his first service games and hold onto the advantage to see out both sets. My winners to error ratio was a lot better and I was trying to make some forays to the net so as not to get involved in extended rallies where he was strong with his high speed.

Fourth set and we both had some half chances but he broke in the third game. At 4-1 I almost considered letting the set slide so I could serve first in the fifth but I kept fighting until he served it out.

In the final set the first big chance came for him at 3-3 0-30, I managed to scramble back to 30-30 and then we had an epic point which I just about squeezed out before closing the game. In the very next game I led 15-40 but he came back to deuce but after another hard fought point I managed to break and serve out for the win.

Good fun match, with me probably benefitting from the higher power while his speed won him a lot of points. From the stats you might think he had won but luckily my stamina just about held up.
