That is because both of you are simply not good enough to handle and return risk. Basically in your mind risk=winner (as you describe it).

Believe me when I tell you, far from it.

I am all about LT risk.....and I can't see any in your exchange. :? can you point them out? ...just curious.

...and sorry, didn't mean to offend or anything man.....but really, your balls are landing just around service line....never close to baseline or side line.

EDIT: just watched the video again. I am now sure that LT risks were not used at all. Maybe 1-2 RT? ....but then again yo guys hit most shots with RB so that in itself gives it a bit more pace.

I don't thought being that bad. Last time we met, you won 6-3 7-6, which is not an enormous victory, and even against you, my risks shots often made winners.
But you're alright, we rarely use LT shots during our matches, and I think the level/style you play depends also on the type of player you have against you. Risk shots are not similar to winners, but with all the 90/90/90/90 players on the MS tour, the points tend to become shorter and shorter, and some match becames repetitive due to the power/stats of players in that tour.
Anyway, i've posted this topic just to share with you a sympathic moment of a match with a good friend, who have not played many match so far, and to have your stories about amazing rallies you made in your past matches (as you do at the end of your first message here), not to brag about it or anything, knowing that I'm not the world number one.

true, but you used Bashma (or was it Cannon?) against my 50+ serve of Mahone and basically served wide 90%...I sorta had to risk back keeping points short...you returned the favor... I was reffering to your rally skills more.

Nevermind thou, I get what you say.

Enjoy man, that's what counts!
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

djarvik wrote:Without disrespect - I think this rally was extremely lame. Sorry.

Granted it is long, but watch where your shots are landing. None of you taking any risks and all you do is push the ball back. Any one of these rally shots could be put away by anyone who is relatively decent risker. So really, you both were just too afraid to pull the trigger. And whats up with the RB shots then quick LB to snap back into position? Either go to net with RB or put it away.

Sorry for being rude, just call it as I see it man.

"Have you ever had a longer point?"

Yes. I would love to record some of my exchanges with Moralspain. Not to brag or anything, but they are just as long if not longer and we actually take risks....lots of them....and come to net - run back. Xavi is one of the best at tracking balls down and then attacking when he has a split second. I am sure he will second my opinion.....even if being too nice most times hahaha! ;)

Another player that I can't escape long points from is Mack. Same story, lots of risk...a bit less volley....but the cross court rallies are intense. He hits cross court shots better then anyone, for sure.

SMP androyo is another player. I just love our deep heave top spins, we exchange sometimes for 20+ shots all LT risks deep....incredible.

I remember that time we played once on the ps3, and i think i was serving to stay in it and you were a point away from match point, and we had this stupednously long rally, it was crap, cause neither of us risked, cause you were hoping i'd be the first to risk and i wasnt wanting to risk, so it was really really long and it ended up being stupidly tense ha i think i won it eventually but it just stuck in my head cause it took years
