I understand the frustration.
But as I understand Darth is a new player on ITST?

My suggestion is write him a PM pointing out what thought of the match and write the host.

He probably is not aware of the "rules" that people have here on ITST. And you can't blame him for that.

I played many of you that was not cheese free but that changed in time. So it would be nice to give the guy a break and not trash him on the forum?

Give it time and take the loss.

Hey aniltje...thx...and sorry that i forget you in my Enumeration :?

To Darth Luisito, sorry that i has say your name, really sorry, and
that i mean honestly, Perhaps in real a nice guy?

But i say never sorry for the game style and the play...
We need real tennis, and this i have not see yesterday,
The gameplay was 30-35min.

The Problem for me is i say what i think...

My Respect goes on all player without or little RT:

Bagdad Simbad
Amazing Zizou
Mack2300
Aceusam
Djarvik
US Federer
Niten Doraku
old other players, moralspain, ensaimada, Amazing Matheja

Infamous Slappy and Synesthesia, i can play with this
guys with replay, that is fair play...and we play over 45 min for 2 or 3 Sets...

and other players....

If all these guys go, then have it made, the RT guys, than is the gameplay complete destroyed....

I win or loose vs the guys, but at makes me fun to play with them.

No i am still here in this Thread, I have all say

I think it would be classier if you would just write the host instead of trashing someone new on the forum.

And you know it.

Hey dutchman,

maybe you should consider RAE doesn t speak/write english as good as we and some times he has problems to write what he really means.

His current post is nothing more as an excuse to Darth, or why do you think he wrote something like "perhaps in real a nice guy?", which means he don t want to blame Darth for his personality, just for his playing style.
Seems like you don t understand the underline message...

@ Mystical Lion

Sorry for don t write in english, but i have to ask him something in german:

ps: Sorry guys but if you want to understand it just use a translator.

I am not talking about REA saying he doesn't like Darth. Cause we don't know anyone in real. But thanks for pointing it out. But I got it so far lol.

I was only referring to his style of play.

And what will the host do ? I wonder. if RAE posts that kind of things, it means he's very frustrated and posting a short pm to the host won't make him feel better.
Creating a thread with your opinion helps more, and i see nothing bad with it. More over, it can help the involve player to realise what he's doing is wrong (perfect exemple is MURDA, he now plays perfectly fair).
Even if Roman could have been a bit more politicaly correct, is it a real problem to write your feeling in the forum ???
I know some poeple think it's not fair to trash someone in public. WTF, we don't know who we are anyways. More over i think if RAE, the fairest guy out here, does write such a topic, it means it's probably deserved.

I agree he can write about cheesy play without having to write down the exact name.

And writing the host can help in maybe having the host warning the player without him being put down publicly on the forum.

But that's just my opinion.

you might be right. Saying all this without the name and ask the host a small pm is maybe the best solution for everyone. However, i do understand RAE's reaction. I had the same with equities, but it was a lot more nasty.

man darf von der ausgangsstellung nur in die mitte rücken, nicht aber nach aussen!
oder bin ich jetzt völlig falsch?

Ur correct. So that's why if someone does that it's considered cheesy and you write the host. Simple as that.

I don't understand why it's 'cool' or accepted here to vent like this about somebody's playing style. Wow, you don't like how he beat you. Sorry, that sucks for you I guess??? As long as he's not breaking any of our 'rules' I don't see what the big deal is. Not everybody has this bizarre image of some 'beautiful tennis' that you want to play. Not everybody has to comply with wishes for "just a few nice rallies" or whatever.

You can write me off because I'm not a huge TS3 player, but frankly this is an issue in tons of video games (people not able to come to grips with annoying/effective styles of play)..

Complaints like this would never be made (at least, not with this kind of passion/rage) if the person you're complaining about did not win. It's all fun and games until the other guy starts beating you. Then it becomes obvious that he is 'playing cheesy' and you are merely a powerless victim in his scandalous web of winning tactics.

Hey Anil,

Long time no see, hope all is well with you.

I appreciate where you are coming from, being diplomatic and fair in your judgement.

I know you have wandered away from TS3 (and your style is missed believe you me), perhaps you were finally driven away by bordem, frsutration with opponents tactics or just fell in love with DMT (or none of the above  )...

...However the facts remain the same, I think some people, including myslef, have got to the end of their teathers with the overall abuse of TS3. Therefore even newbies are getting a hard time - not ideal I know.

The main wake up call is that all the players, that I have had or are having issues with have never changed their style, at all, may times they have got worse - so whats the point of a gentle message asking them to commit to fair play via PM?

I have come to terms that this is, and always will be, a harsh reality in TS3 and gaming in general - more fool me for being so hung up with a game that I care as much as I do.

All that said, people need to let off steam, as Rae does - yes whilst Darth Luistio should not been pin pointed or anyone else in thoery, however I am at the point where I am bordening on not giving a monkeys because:

A) At least it proves it just not me who is going round the bend
B) I would rather cheese masters read Rae's post and it create the possbility that they may stop it or at least tone it down
C) My dream would be for the style (or severe lack) just fritter away into oblivion
D) It takes away any undersving respect that these players may have.

I would rather be appreciated for fair play, playing with style & saying what is on my mind then worrying whether I have upset a select few.

And you know it

Jay, I know we have agreed to disagree on this, as per my previous thread. I respect the fact that you and others may genuinely share different opinions on the matter.

However whether we are minorities or the majority I personally will continue to rally on about it - just because I am an awkward fella who wants it his own way

I knew it ain't cool, its actually very childish of us a times, but the baby cries for a reason when his candy is taken from him, because it sucks!!! 8)

Well as I said earlier, why not just create a "Moan pot" or "Whinge pot".

That way, members will not get bored or annoyed of seeing multiple threads of this kind and the others will be able to whinge away when they so feel the need :idea
