You did say, or at least seriously imply he harrased him.

So we should just play a match that is no fun, why? Its just a waste of time?

Thank you Coke4...

Clearly TS3 made some risk shots too easy to perform (for some! I still cant do it).

And it does take away from the entertainment value.

Anytime a player can execute any risk shot (including returns people) 90% of the time  ...

by definition it is not risky!

But there is really nothing anyone can do about it (except complain on the forum I guess).

I said that because he said ull get harassed by other players for doing that shot.

Parsons is another dropshot abuser, he dropshoted me like 50 times in our match, especially after his serve!! i really hate when i loose this way...

I didn't except him to use this kind of tactics because we had great matches before with me winning all of them. I guess he wanted to win this one. I hope you had enjoyed your win parsons...

Dropshot after a serve is lame. Dropshot as a counter to a hard-hit groundstroke is lame. What I find hilarious is the "strategic" drop shot on important points (especially in TB's).

Good one dude, you won the match cuz you cheesed at the perfect time. Sorry to all you dropshotters out there, i just have ZERO respect for it.

But let me say for the record, this isn't directed at Parsons. He's played me clean everytime and has beaten me fair and square.

I really don't care if he won or not, im just saying this to be careful people from him now.

Maybe he just wanted to win this no matter what and he used that tactics against me... i repeat this is the first time he used that tactic against me..

Brger he used after serve, hard hit groundie and bp opportunities. i guess thats lame enough..

Dropshots on hard groundies are just ridiculous. you've barely finished your swing and there comes a drop shot that you can't react to. Same as the serve->dropshot.
When someone fumbles the ball back/hits a soft groundie in a ralley and is far behind the baseline I wont hesitate though

Yeah westy was doing serve drop and rarely doing a dropshot when on backfoot. But it seems like learnt from his ways now. Just wish he learnt before he played me because I would've had my first win :(. Anyway time to move on. Also can you dropshot a dropshot easily? I don't think it would help too much but would be nice move. I know a risk slice would be a good counter but I refuse to use it. I used it in one random exhibition match and omg it such a deadly shot. It isn't defensive at all and they have to hit puff ball back so you can risk next shot. I'm talking about R2 btw not L2, R2 just too easy to do for so much gain, sorry that for other thread but thought I'd just remind westy that people don't like it so next opponent doesn't go insane (btw westy didn't risk slice me, well 3-4 times but meh I can deal with it unless it a game/set/break/match point lol)

i have said this before, but i´ll repeat it, some cheesy players only choose this way because is easy win points, in fact they don´t need this tactics and if u want punish them u have to play cheesy too , if not is impossible beat them, and against dropshots i like use R1 and finish the point with a volley.

It's quite difficult to put away drop shots, especially as it's now clay season. The game in itself is ridiculously slow, but on clay it gets even slower. And because in all honesty you can never get any clues from the stroke production that there going to hit a drop shot, so you simply have to use you'r gut feeling.

And if somehow you reach the drop shot, risking on a drop shot is probably one of the toughest risks in the game to do mainly because the ball's pace and spin is totally different than all the other shots, so even the best risker would find it a bit tough.
Work me a boss.
